Iron Man HUD project (idea gathering) now w/video example

I definitely am NOT done with it.. just kind of shelved for the moment! LOL

A kit would be probably be something VERY difficult for the end user to install/do.. or it would add much more cost (to an already expensive project) to make it more DIY kit friendly..

As it.. your already looking at several hundred dollars (with the VUFINE displays) in hardware alone.

Forget about time/code..etc.. that hasnt even been added in yet.

That being said..

When it comes time, I will definitely help you make a HUD kit.. Might have to some stuff out here to me and install..etc and then send it back out..

But you'll have one!

I think when I return.. I'll add in and demonstrate the external circuit interaction with the the HUD (ie: repulsors showing each time it fires on the HUD for example)

Ah I see.

Well I will definitely take you up on your offer with help on a HUD when the time comes. In the future I'll probably message you and and see what I need to buy/provide for materials. One of my goals is to collaborate more/work with more people on these kinds of projects so I think this would be fun! ha.

I too like to work/collaborate with others on projects...

An easy 'turn-key' DIY type of kit would be VERY hard to produce IMHO...

As all helmets are different....

So not all 'pieces' would fit/work in everyones helmet (mounting eye piece, camera.....etc...etc)

Hence my reluctance to offer a KIT.. maybe with the understanding that assembly and mounting/securing to your desired end helmet is up to the end user?

I'll try and boot that project up over the weekend..

I have
2 x Iron Man projects that need to be done.. (outside of the HUD system)
2 x Tron projects

and a couple of other personal projects too! (yikes!)
