Thanks, but the trash bin idea was originally Fetts.Sobriquet's idea. I like it because I find it to be much more efficient and durable than a pepakura suit.

My suit is not going to be made out of cardboard.
The cardboard components that I am making are wearable templates that I will transfer to the black trash bins, thus giving me a suit made of a resilient plastic called polyethylene. The armor surfaces in each limb/rigid part will be fastened together with rivets.
If you still do not understand what I mean by this, search up Fetts.Sobriquet or Anthony Le, then you'll get the picture.
The concept of making a costume out of trash bins was created by Fetts.Sobriquet and then was largely popularized by Anthony Le with his Iron Man suits using the method.

Oh, and i'm also putting my itouch into the suit so I can play music in there using voice control. (the itouch will still be removable)

I've forgot to add this picture. It was before I had to redo the top of the helmet. I redid it because I had rushed and made a huge mistake by doing an undesirable method to strengthen the helmet.

Ha! thanks. I'm not really a prop hobbyist, it's just that I LOVE to build, create, engineer, and do things nobody has done before (mostly things that are not props). It just happens that my current project is this, and this place seemed an appropriate place to share it.

I believe I am the only one who is actually putting some kind of cooling system in an I.M. suit. A cooling system that uses fans was mentioned in TMP's thread about his suit, but it is not confirmed that he did put a fan in his suit.
I also believe that I am the only one who is going to put an mp3 player in the suit too.

I can't wait to see more.I am going to start the mk5 suit from templates Fetts created.I wouldn't think to use trash cans for a complex suit like this.Stick with this and keep up the good work.:cool

Big difference, huh?:lol Makes the older one look like trash.
Out with the old and in with the new.
Couple of views comparing the old one and the new one.
I intentionally left the back part out of the older template since I knew I was going to revise it and shouldn't waste any time working on that part.
