Thanks everyone. Fellas, finally an update! This chest piece was a Biiiiotch to finish. of course plenty of mistakes were made. Got up this morning and wet sanded, yes wet sanded it and re-coated it. I wasn't happy yesterday now I am. I just have to do touch-ups. Now that the hardest pieces are done the rest of it won't take long. Jordan once I put the shoulderbells on I'll upload it some pics wit it on. Maybe cardboard isn't a bad idea? Lol here's pics.

Re: Iron Man Mark 6- second cardboard build

Small update, 4/7/11 on the biceps I extended the shoulder to connect the shoulderbells to them. It'll add some depth to the bicep itself. They are fiberglassed now, and I started bondo. I'll post pics tommorow. Also I did a simple reactor it looks like the IM stunt suit's in the movie. I don't need a super bright, super detailed arc reactor. Just something to light up the chest. I fixed the small slits of lighting by re-adding some bondo to the areas needed. Its hard to make a triangle cover to fit perfect in the chest area of the mark 6. Here's some pics to show what I did with hot glue, soldering , and velcro. Keep Building!....

Incredible ... needless to say you are keeping the build at the level of champions ... very nice job and that wet sanding session def. paid off ... ??? do you have the switch for your reactor set up so you can push on your chest to activate it?
