Iron Man Mark VI - second cardboard build - First Time (edited) Movie Short!

Re: Iron Man Mark 6- second cardboard build

Yes Sir, Automotive Paint from Pep boy's Barcelona Red Metalic $7.00 us per can, Rust-oleum Metalic Brass $4.00 and Krylon Clear the best stuff! dries in 10-12 minutes. All I have left are the rivets in the faceplate and there are minor imperfections on the browline. Other than that I'm very satisfied! I glassed the chest and back and they will be finished soon since there are no round parts whew!

I can definately do that I have a small head so my helmet is not big. This helmet is like 95% of my build is from scratch. NO PEP! Its totally custom. Look at the chin its really small, and flush with the faceplate. I'm not good at pepakura. I have alot of templets left from my first scratch build that I re-drew. The shoes and biceps are robo's trimmed down. This helmet also has the interior foam from a football helmet, and is very wearable! I'm working on a hinge system that when the faceplate is lifted the led's go off, when it closes they come on. Manually no servos, so stay tuned! Keep Building!....

Easy as pie. Use a light sensor from one of those cheap $1 store night lights, doesn't get any easier than that and works perfect. ;)
