Nothing new to put up yet. I finally found colors i'm pleased with for the helmet & suit. But right now I have my hands full finishsanding. I'll have the helmet done by the weekend its the one thing that can make or break the overall look. Then I'll update y'all with pics. The rest of the suit won't take as long to do. wook22 its good to see someone post from Cali. Keep Building!....

It never rains in Southern California? Yeah Right! Its been 45 to 60 degrees with rain & wind the past 8 days off and on. So progress is slow. I'm a summer time guy. I promised the helmet, here's the helmet painted. I hope you guy's like. Im pretty satisfied. Just have to add the EL sheet, hinge Mech, and touch up paint the next couple of days.

I am so incredibly jealous as to how well this came out. I never could quite get the hang of the whole pep thing, not enough patience i guess.
Anyway, great job man.

Thank you. I cant pep that good either, so I use cardboard and build with mechanical drawing. Keep Building!....

Thanks STEALTH, the red is gonna change. I'm color sanding it tommorow and applying a metalic paint finish to see which i like better. Keep Building!...

This is absolutely amazing, love it buddy. I can only hope that my build comes out as great as this.

Its OK! the toy look is off though. We'll see how the rest comes about The "NewColor" is Barcelona Red Metalic. I'ts going on today after I color sand. I'm having problems with my rubber pieces around the eye's of the face plate. almost finished with the paint. Will post the changes later or tommorow. Thanks for posting. Keep Building!....

The "New Color" is Barcelona Red Metalic. I think I pegged this one! I'm having trouble with the plastic pieces around the eye's of the faceplate. We finally got some sun. Hope it stays around. Not a problem though? I post pics of the differences later today or tommorow. Keep Building!....

Amazing job on the pep. I can't believe that a pep made from cardboard turned out so great. I like the paint job as it is but I'm interested in seeing the metallic red. Good job and keep up the posts.

Amazing work. Great idea using cardboard instead of card stock. Did you use plain old cardboard box cardboard ?

It's regular cardboard boxes! and I did get fired on my day off! Lol - Smokey & Craig on friday. Ha! Ha! Keep Building!....

New Paint Guy's! These pics don't really do the helmet justice though. Weather is a "B" word out here more rain for rest of the week. But next week we go back in the mid 70's which is good! Things will fly faster then. I've already started buiding my lighting system, went away from EL sheets (didn't work.) the shape of the eye's won't allow vision. So custom work will be done. I have a excellent idea for that. Don't worry I will share it once its done. I also glassed the Chest RT and the back. they're solid and ready to add bondo and sand. So look for updates for those pieces to be finished on Sunday! - helmet pics! Keep Building!....

The Paint job turned out really nice man.
