ta da... very early stages. You can see where I pretty well trashed some of the harness armor from reworking the placement so many times; should be an easy fix later.

SWEET!

I love videos even more than pics

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Now just make a tutorial on how you did that... :)

I needed a small articulating flap to conceal the lift and track... this was the super simple solution I came up with.

Here's the rebuilt shoulder piece... I replaced the two smaller pieces with one solid piece (I think it looks better)

Dude... just wow...
This build is inspiring me to slap down a few bucks, get some galvanized sheet metal, and just goto town.

... Future Build, though, not right now. Mabey before Halloween.

Thanks for the Idea.

wow, thanks for all the support you all! It keeps me trying to out-do myself - haha

Sir, that is exceptional. Beautifully crafted and you're right, it looks like it grew there. My cap is doffed..

the Mark VII Forearm I was so excited to start on, slightly modified, of course... this is the first two nights worth, kinda tricky & I will have some finishing work to do, but I think it will be worth it. More to come soon...

I've been looking it over and I'm pretty sure I can get a fourth barrel in there... I figured I'd snap a few pics while I had it stripped down so you all could see how it's set up.

With the new setup, the barrels will have to be spring loaded so that they lower enough for the cover to close but raise up enough to clear the armor when "engaged".

wasn't there only 1 or 2 barrels in the Movie? This is the Mark 3 forearm that you're making, right?

Are you going for Movie Accuracy, or just doing whatever?

Added the fourth barrel a week or so ago, just forgot to post the pic. I also scrapped the "spring loaded" plan for this one and added another motor instead... I have another project to finish then I will post more progress in a week or so.

The torso is IRON MAN - MARK 4 - CHEST - Created by Robo3867 - Modded (anonymous)

The Back is IRON MAN - MARK VI - BACK - Created by Robo3867 - Foam Edit -STEALTH -LETTER Version_2

The Forearm is Iron Man mark7 by Karol Siemieniago - minor edit and foam unfold JFcustom

and I am cramming as many barrels in the suit as possible. You can see that the files are slightly different from my suit in some places due to the restrictions of working with steel vs foam.

I am SO GLAD that you all know how to model these suits into 3D pep files... very impressed, much thanks!

You're gonna have to goto a Convention, and Enter this thing in a Show, man. Too cool not to...
