I did a quick Photoshop of what I would like to see with this new suit. I like the suit, but not the color combination.

I like it!

However, since we are playing the "what I would like to see" game, I would love to have seen it look more like the Bleeding Edge armor like this:

Warmachine was based on the MK II. I'm guessing Tony rebuilt it after Hammer dissected it... the same way he rebuilt the MK I.

I like it!

However, since we are playing the "what I would like to see" game, I would love to have seen it look more like the Bleeding Edge armor like this:

Like your color scheme King Ranger... it is a little different from the others without going to much overboard with all the tan.

I just spoke to someone who was in ComicCon and he said that this is supposed to be the "Silver Centurion" according to Feige.

And the finish on the gold/tan/silverwhatevercoloritssupposedtobe is supposed to be raw brushed vibranium that's why it has a matte sheen on it.

For all the people that mark 8 is the only armour please red this description from IGN at SDCC:

"Marvel screened about 5 or so minutes of footage (twice!) for fans. The clip began with Tony Stark playing with his new toys. His thought-controlled armor as he only has to gesture at his armor and/or give Jarvis a verbal command for the pieces to come flying at him. (We saw a bit of this in action in Avengers, remember?) That bit ends with a hero pose of Tony in his new silver and crimson armor."

I know ign has an eye for details, and they specifically say "SILVER and CRIMSON". I doubt they would miss all the gold on that suit. Here's hoping for Marks VIII through XI! Which is about average per iron movie

I think that was accurate 'cause I was told the same thing. However, that was just a teaser footage and they can easily change the color. Even with the Avengers, they used the Mark VI stunt suit to shoot the rest of the movie and changed it to the "Mark VII" with CGI later in production.

I agree that there should be no Mark II as it was originally designed, but I'm thinking that is exactly what is beyond RD in this shot.

I also get the idea that all suits on display are equipped with their own arc reactor. Which doesn't make sense. Keeping spare suits and arc reactors on hand is just asking for trouble. I mean someone could just come along and steal one.

As I think about it, it doesn't even make sense for the Mark V to be on display. Its whole purpose is to be available in an emergency situation. It should be repacked and waiting for use somewhere.

I know it looks cool to have a hall of armor, but logistically things don't line up. The Mark III suit has all sorts of dings and battle damage on the chest, but the helmet is fully intact (though Obediah crushed that version helmet). If he went back and rebuilt the Mark II prior to it becoming War Machine, and he made a new Mark III helmet, why not repair the damage to the Mark III suit itself?

I'm sure I'm reading waaaay too much into things, but little logistical details bother me.

I'm not super thrilled with this new armor either. I don't like the tan color scheme. Overall, the colors look kind of dull to me. I hope it gets better closer to the release.

Sorry, I don`t like that AT ALL ...

The suit itself is cool, although it lacks the "handmade" feel and is a bit too organic. Like a symbiont suit or an alien life form disguising as an Iron man suit.

Well, now that you mention it, rumor is this suit is supposed to "fly to and assemble" around his body without the gantry due to nanotechnology in his body--maybe they're going for a more organic design with this suit.
