Info: Vader reveal helmets

To my knowledge there isn't any, but there are rumors that Master Replicas might be working on it.
I've heard the same thing a few times over the last two years.

The only licensed reveal helmets out there are those small riddell Vader helmets. (

I remember hearing at one point that if MR makes an ROTJ reveal, it would be symmetrical. I'm sure that's just a rumor, but it kinda makes sense considering LFL likes those fairly idealized versions of the props. Also considering how they made an ROTS Vader instead of a non-symmetrical ANH or ESB. I really hope that's not going to be the case....

The rumor last year of so was that if MR makes the reveal helmet it will only be the 2 mask pieces and not the dome (aka non-complete).
I want to say that was a rumor from a board member who works for MR but I honestly don't remember.

If MR produced a replica, they would have excellent reference material from Lucasfilm - the original prop.
I would like them to recreate the piece exactly, warps and all.
As this is a reveal, I wouldn't mind it being 'domeless' really - the 'touring' reveal display always looks stunning, I would prefer to display it in the same way (and not cover that great detail up with a dome.).

So, any news on the MR Vader Reveal helmet ?
But unfortunatelly is what MR believes the mass market wants.
The only other officially licensed Vader Reveal was the Illusive Concepts which was very simplified and not very accurate.

I've been considering one that was up last week, but didn't sell. It is back up now, and looks pretty nice. It has the separate jaw (I'm not interested in 1-piece masks, I want a replica of the actual prop), and even has the interior details on the upper mask (though the fabric liner doesn't look like an exact match to the prop). It isn't perfect, but it looks much better than most of the others I've seen on ebay.

No official reveal helmets out there except for the Riddel helmets put out a while back. The one on E-bay I saw as well. It looked nice. I have a Portumac reveal helmet, but its only an external reveal. It has no insides. The reveals are rare to come along and usually rather pricey.
