Interest Indiana Jones - "FERTILITY IDOL" (Made from Casting from Original Mold)

Cool hopefully I have enough money, do you have an estimate of the amount of spots on the run, or is it by the amount of people interested.

Thanks,

Matthew

I'm not sure how many I'll make, but I usually try to make enough for everyone who is interested.

I don't expect to have an Interest List up for another couple of months, and a run completed until the Fall at the earliest. So, you should have a fair enough time to save up some cash! :cool:thumbsup

I'm currently trying to finish up two project runs right now for other props (Cronos Device & National Treasure Pipe), and I have a couple of other props that will be available on my list to finish up this year as well.
So, it all depends how much time I'll have available.

With all of this talk about ‘face folds’ and ‘reflections’ and whatnot, I got curious about what my STELTER CREATIVE Idol would look like side-by-side next to the picture of the “Original Prop Idol” that Brad had posted earlier. It really is kind of funny how much of a difference there can be in the way things look when any type of plating is involved with regards to various shadows, reflections and other perceived variances in the sculpting. (Not to mention angles and distance.)

I LIKE it! Would it be possible to buy on “raw” I’m gonna fit eyes in and the have it gold plated with real gold.

That are no reflections. The double chin has a shadow also.Look here you can see it better. No reflection can make this.
And the Original Idol is not so mirror gold like the most fanmades out there.

The head piece was also quite dull. It’s because of the strong lights used for filming. A high reflective surface like gold is impossible too capture well on film. Bye dulling it you can film it and it actually looks shiny.

How did i miss this? Looks great!! Know what you mean about the OCD and leaving well enough alone. Its pretty damn close to my 'indy' eyes

Darn, Brenton, you really keep knocking the replicas out of the park. Consider me absolutely interested in one of these.

Well, the thread was moved from the Replica Props section to the Project Runs section in the Classifieds, so... ;)

It was moved by a Moderator since prices were getting thrown around, so it's here without my request...

I'll officially start an Interest List when I have a prototype back from the Gold-Plater to show you guys what the final product looks like! :cool:thumbsup
