Oh my god. I am a machine and I will destroy the world. Or at least myself. I got everything done tonight I wanted to. I can't believe it.
Here's the state of my arm armor. I am particularly proud of the shoulders. I actually based the left one on the show stills. So the scuffs kinda match.
I was able to get the chest armor and the back plate sanded, spot filled, sanded again, and painted tonight. They may not look perfect but it only took my 2 days. There's some sketchy areas and a seams that sunk where I pieced on more sintra on the back. Hopefully I can cover those spots with weathering marks.
Tomorrow I have to weather the chest armor, do all my fitment stuff with the foam, and figure out the collar for the chest armor. That's the biggest issue. Wish me luck.

Can you velcro the shoulders to the underarmor? They can't be that heavy if they're sintra.

It's like the rubber mesh they sell in rolls at like hardware stores and stuff. Usually in the same place that drawer lining is. It's like a non-slip mesh. You can put it in drawers or on shelves so glasses and the like don't slip. Also under rugs to keep them from moving around.
Hmmm...maybe. They're actually styrene clone shoulder. But it's a possibility. Honestly I'd like them to hang more so they can shift position if I raise my arms.
