Unlimited Run IM2 War Machine Helmet Kits

Dont believe I received an invoice yet.

According to my notes, it looks like you should be squared away now. If I'm wrong, please send me a PM with your PayPal info and I'll get it sorted out.

Received mine today. Can't wait to get it started, but I have a few other projects that need some love first

When you do get started, please post a couple of pictures here in the thread. I haven't had a chance to finish mine and I'd love to see how other people finish theirs.

I'm making my next shipping run on Friday, so if you're interested in getting in on this run, please post here and I'll PM you with payment info.

Couldn't help myself, so I got everything cleaned up. Holy thick cast, Batman! I'm going to have to do some thinning out on the backside in order to fit the lower plate on.

Got mine in today, like Kevin said, very solid cast. Also like Kev, plenty of irons in the fire, but really want to see the final result. :D

Got mine as well. Can't wait to start. I should probably go ahead and do all 3 of the helmets of yours I have...

Yeah. Hurry up. And post pictures when you get around to it.

If anyone else needs one of these, please post here and I'll PM you with payment info.

Does anybody have any progress pics yet? If so, please post them so we can all check them out.

In other news, if you'd like to get yourself a copy of this kit, please post here and I'll PM you with payment info.

I meant to snap some of mine last night but time got away from me and I had to pack up to leave the shop! I'm going to be back today.

Others weren't kidding with how thick you made the casts! The face plate is going to have a really satisfying "clunk" when it closes.

What product do you recommend for spot filling?
Depends on the spots. For tiny bubbles, I usually just squeeze in a drop of CA adhesive (like Zap-a-Gap or Insta-Cure). For small divots I tend to use something in the way of glazing and spot putty (available at auto parts or hardware stores) or a 2-part epoxy putty if need be.

Still cleaning up parts but first lemme take a selfie.

That's hot. I really can't wait to see one of those things get finished. Mine's close, but I still need to light up the eyes:

I suppose I'll wire that up about the same time as I finish up one of these guys:

So far I've not gotten much past the black primer stage:

If anybody else wants one of these kits, please be sure to post here and I'll PM you with payment info.

I figure I have 3 of your helmets all sitting in similar states of incompleteness so I might as well just do all 3 at once. Here is the family with nearly all of the flashing cleaned, still with a few minor fixes needed.

The War Machine helmet is awesome, I couldn't be happier with it.

And it fits! It will sit better with padding in the top (and not wearing a pony tail).

Are your eye inserts curved, did you heat bend acrylic or something? I want to light up the eyes in mine (of course), but since there isn't a faceplate I can remove, I want to be able to make sure I can definitely see out of it while wearing it (when or if I ever make a Godkiller armor...).
