parts sourced
stahlin box - i had to buy one
eimac vs2 bulb - needed one to make a cast.
all built by other means:
relay bases scratch built
i used a spark plug cap and made a cast
the rods were welding rods (2mm)
welding tips were 8mm for the relays with wire and heatshrink
the acrylic i had cut on a router(10mm)
led flux was a vellemen chevron kit - with my leds instead of using all the red ones in the kit.
the labels i designed at home and printed on my laserprinter onto fablon
window seal (1") from ebay
perspex - diy store
dymo labeller - i had one from when i was little
8mm yellow plug lead wire
so only 2 items were sourced - the box is a basic must have, without the bulb i would have used 12mm plastic test tubes - they would have been a decent compromise
steveo if you want one on the cheap - and your prepared to buy a stahlin box and paint it grey - the internals from the 2nd on, the window rubber, and the persex would transfer right over so youd have one like mine
the internals on my 2nd flux were exactly the same as the one pictured here - just i didnt have the money to import a stahlin enclosure - easy cheap otionn for you if you want it
to get a stahlin into the uk will cost you £100 with duty
