Hi! I have boobs and I make...

beautiful women and beautiful costumes, big respect to you all :)

and wow Xenajo, I was paging backwards through this thread and thought the picture of you and your horse was actually Xena! Wasn't until I found your original post that I realised. Spot on!

Niiice :) I'm on fibreglass rest so I'm living a bit vicariously through others ;)

It's very wet here in West Auckland, aka home of Power Rangers (sigh yes) and making life a bit difficult for any kind of molding and casting. But I am making progress on my new lekku having sacrificed my Talon lekku for Rachi Sitra. And may just manage a spot of sewing for Nyreen before I lose impetus to finish her.

Hello new boob friends!
I'm Heather, everyone calls me Jonesie. I am a nuclear security officer, and probably the worst person in the world to give a pair of scissors to. But I want to make a Boushh costume, so here goes nothin!

I look forward to reading your build thread. Thank you for joining the forum. I hope that you can make this your second family :)

I hope I can too. I woke up several times last night dreaming about different costumes! I think I've got some kind of Star Wars disease, because I want to make several now!

It can be a gateway drug, that's for sure! I started with a stormtrooper and before I knew it my wife and I had around 10 Star Wars costumes between the two of us with more under way. And that's not even counting the hordes of non-SW costumes we've since made...

Hi everyone. I'm super new to the community and kinda new to costume making. But I'm a chick and I'm slowly learning how to make stuff that isn't just sewing.

Everyone's work is so good, it's kind of intimidating :)

"Gateway drug" for sure lol! I'm excited to be a part of this community, and to be able to give back to mine.

Yeah I know the feeling! I don't know how to sew, but everyone has been wonderful. Plus, from reading several different blogs, I've come to see that they don't have to be 'perfect'. Everyone is very supportive of your endeavors. Good luck!

Im painting my house room by room and want to do something like this in my sons room. Just on one wall. That amazing and inspiring!!

while I have been a lurker for a few years now, this is my first time actually posting. My friend makes most of my costumes. I'm learning to sew so I don't have to rely on her all the time, also so I can make costumes for my baby. I have been cosplaying since 2002 at the tender age of 14-15.

Next projects for me would be President Romana from Doctor Who and Chantique from Star Wars. I currently have Romana II pink frock, Alma from Santa Sangre, and Herbert West. I had more but wear and tear over the years means I have to remake them, including classic Harley Quinn, Visas Marr and Jarael from Star Wars.

Hey all-

Checking in and wanted to say how AWESOME it is that we are all here to support each other! I really hope everyone posts up build threads or at least basic "how I did this" threads.

I really want to encourage even more females to post up our awesome work, no matter how big or small you think it might be! We got skills!

I plan on doing more as well, considering I still need to post up my claudette! :D

Hullo!
I've been pseudo-lurking for a little while, my boyfriend actually found the RPF while looking for ideas on how to construct Cap's TFA suit, and shared it with me - considering I was the major catalyst in drawing the geek from his bones, I think it's a fair trade ;)

In the past I've done various things ranging from Portal (Dad and I made a summer project of the gun and it's my pride and joy, even if it is a little too long in the body) to Homestuck (it was a low point for me, but one of the bigger projects I'd done) and now venturing into the realm of comics! Admittedly, my style is mostly that of a college student on a budget so the majority of my prop/armor-making techniques involve cheating, such as making silicon molds with caulking guns from Home Depot, but until those student loans are paid off or I learn how to work with metal it will have to do! Much of what I have learned about sewing was in clumsy observation of my mother who dutifully obliged me in the summers between college semesters, though nowadays I pick up a lot of tips and other useful information from aforementioned boyfriend. He sews better than I do and I'm not sure how I feel about it, haha

For the future, or at least as far ahead as I can predict, I'll probably be following through with this Wonder Woman run for a while. Lucky she has so many costume changes! Especially with 'Justice League: War' coming out next year, aww yeah.

You find the strangest things when you do a search. Typed in Ichabod Crane and this thread came up? Interesting. I'm looking for a Katrina Van Tassel Dress for my wife if anyone knows where to find a nice one. She's 5'2", about a size 2-4 and she really likes the black and white stripped gown from the end of Sleepy Hollow. If anyone has any information that could help me out id appreciate it.

I picked up the Master Replicas peach dress knowing it was not at all accurate. But it's the best I could come up with.

We want to do a couples costume for our daughters birthday/Halloween party.

Thanks in advance.

Sup guys.

My name's Stacey Rebecca, I've been cosplaying for about a year and a half, and I LIEK MAKING STUFF. I've been lurking on the RPF for a few months now so figured I'd sign up and drop in from time to time. This site was invaluable when I made my Pepper Potts Iron Man arm and learning how to use Pepakura.

Here's some things of mine:
