While waiting for my stormtrooper armor to arrive later this year I couldn't help but to get to work on something Star Wars related without breaking the bank; so I decided I would combine two of the things I enjoy most: water sports and Star Wars.

I present to you a WIP of my Star Wars - inspired wakeboard. Hope you enjoy just the sheer playfulness of this project as much as I am.

I started out with an old board given to me by a friend. I wasn't really in to the image on the front so I decided I'd give it a stomtrooper / R2D2 -esque style.

With some added weathering...

And a few burns here and there

Hopefully I will be able to get some work done on the backside soon; it's just flat white at the moment.
