Here we go! The stand to hold your "awesome Samaritan kit" (your words, not mine) is almost ready! I haven't had a chance to do the wiring yet, but the stand is all ready with a spot for a battery and all the wiring all built in. It holds the Samaritan at just the right angle and the tracer bullets look very cool all lit up. I was unable to source a proper switch to make the logo be the on/off switch, so there's a little on/off switch at the back. Ignore the 3 white bullets. It would come with 4 clear bullets that could be painted to look like the one shown.
I haven't finalized a price yet, but I'm leaning to $75 for the plastic (including 4 bullets) and maybe an extra $20 to have it wired up? I need to do some material and time calculations still, but that's probably close.
Give me some feedback...

Included for sure, thanks. I'll probably start an official FS thread once everything is finalized. I'll try to get a pic up with the LEDs working soon

Yep, the hypotenuse (the long-edge) of the triangle should be horizontal.

Now I'm gunna have the oddball/different prototype again. You should see my ugly Samaritan, your guys' kits are way better. Kinda like the mechanic who drives a crappy car.

Still working on finishing stand prototype, but the snow and my killer sore throat have other ideas. Planning on having some more pics, including LEDs, by the end of the week.

My kit turned up safe and sound on Saturday. I just need wo work out where all the bits go now and get sanding

So, here's where I'm at with the stand. I'll post an official FS thread in the next 2 days, but since it will mostly apply to the people here, I'll let you know first.
I wanted to keep the price as low as possible as a thanks for buying the gun kit. So the stand, as seen above, will sell for $70.00. It's a lot of plastic and close to 24 hours of straight printing. Includes 4 clear bullets.
If you want the LEDs, wiring, resisters, switch and can solder yourself, it'll cost $70.00 +$15.00.
If you want the whole thing done, and wired and working, it'll cost $70.00 + $15.00 + $15.00. I don't solder well, and plan on paying a student to do the soldering. I've been told its a very simple circuit, but I'm not an electronics guy. And we'll have to glue the 2 bases together. I'd rather not do this option, but I do want to offer it incase someone can't solder, but really wants a kit.
Shipping should be the same price as the gun was, will be using the same boxes and shippers.
Think it over, I'll let you know when the FS thread goes up. Planning on a run of 10 to start, and then we'll see shere it goes from there.
