A Stand! good idea, think I'll be needing one soon :lol

I liked the Sideshow Hellboy II stand (not my pic)

My Samaritan is black now, even with the sub zero temp in my garage it seems to have gone on ok

gone for quite a dark brown grip, going to try & give it some lighter textures & maybe gloss

then I need to put it all together & weather it (my favourite bit)

but first it needs to sit & properly dry a day or so

I bought a big Hellboy foam fist to make a stand or display with but its huge probably 1:1 with the gun size

Not 100% finished but getting there :lol

not the best pics I'm sorry

whole thing went together perfectly everything doing what it should

given it an initial weathering (but may leave it as is now)

could do with improving the grip paint job a bit (I'm just bad at wood effects :facepalm)

once again I LOVE THIS KIT :love

so much fun putting it together, if you're sitting on the fence get off it & get in on a run

(the pic with the Blade Runner Blaster is just for scale to show how freakin huge it is)

Love the blade runner gun too. We were thinking of doing up a kit of those, but I kinda got the feeling there has been lots of kits done already.

I need another sure fire successful idea for a new kit...

If you did a Blade Runner Blaster kit that was as good as the Samaritan kit that would be awesome

I've got a few Blade Runner Blasters (metal & Resin) but it's one of my favourite props & I would definitly be interested in another one if the price was right

Problem with the Blade Runner blasters that are out there is that they're soooo expensive especially the metal ones (the Tomenosuke & Coyle are amazing but out of my price range & probably a lot of other peoples)

I'm guessing that if you did one along the lines of this kit there would be interest

only thing would be the clear amber grips?

But then you can always paint the grips black & it's a patrolman's blaster :lol

I also know over on propsummit & here people were making some cool blade runner variant blasters i.e. Snub nosed, magnums etc (but still very pricey)

would love over to see what you could come up with

As an idea, you could have a stab at doing the Jack Sparrow Queen Anne Boxlock pistol from On Stranger Tides. Might be a limited appeal but its certainly one that no-one else is doing as far as I know.

That aside I am hoping there's another run of these down the line.

Good news, I managed to clean up 2 more kids w/o cutting my finger off again. Working on the 3rd kit atm, hoping to do final mailout next Wednesday. The following people are down as interested :

Eaglewood, mojo1971, DVDVampire, leviathanworksh, and boodha. Eaglewood has paid, I don't need payment from the rest until maybe end of this week. I'll PM you guys later this week.

As far as doing another kit, I'm considering it. I really like the blade runner gun myself, grabbed a bunch of reference today, need to wrap our heads around how we could print it, make the barrel swing out, make LEDs, etc. Also need a bit of break, but we'll keep working on it. I'm glad there is some interest.

An old pirates gun would be cool, but ya, probably limited market. The clear amber grips... I'm looking at a translucent PLA plastic, not sure if the colour is right or how it would work, but starting to think anyways...
