I can, the toy model seamlines right in the middle of model and visable the retention screws holding the pods and the halve lines must like every other Diecast toy ruin it for me.

The Dropship and APC pair are together one of my all-time favourite movie vehicles, but I feel quite comfortable with my decision not to get this. I'd have probably bought it if it was somewhere around £500, and I did wonder if it would look more appealing once people starting showing videos of it, but the asking price imo is far too high for what you're getting.
You're talking about a vehicle that is famous for its articulation but this super expensive replica doesn't articulate. That plus the quite weak surface detail (can't believe they didn't sculpt a grill or something inside the engine intakes, the windows look pretty bad, and there's almost no panel lining past the cockpit) and unacceptable lack of lighting for the price are deal-breakers, which is a huge shame.

I'm with you on that one; for my taste, it's too expensive for the amount of details missing. The pilots, the lighting and the articulation should be a must on that model...Maybe Haslab should tackle it

Great video my man. I have to agree on a lot of your points. ANY lighting would have been appreciated. Landing lights, cockpit lights, nav lights, engine lights. It’s 2024 and at the price point we paid give us something. Even a spunkmeyer or Faro would have been appreciated in the cockpit. However I feel 8 out of 10 is a fair assessment for what it is as a static model. I have no idea what the stretch limo sized APC is doing there as it doesn’t fit as you pointed out but for the same price point why would you NOT buy the exclusive edition? Warts and all I bought it because I didn’t want to pay secondary market later and as you stated it will be a centerpiece to any Aliens collection. I am going to order a nice plaque for mine as the base will support a little extra bling. That would have been nice with an edition size as well

I hate to burst your bubble, but it doesn't fit because it's literally impossible for the APC to fit inside the Dropship as it's designed. They used camera tricks in the film to make it appear as though it fits, but it is actually too long.
Various people have tried to make modified Dropships over the years that will accommodate the APC, but it never works very well.

Yeah it's a no brainer right ?I think it looks great.But here is the exclusive edition a must have.You need the APC.
