Well my team and I spent the last few months working on a life sized droideka. Yeah you read that right. 3D printed from files from Droid Division. Was a heck of a build with several weeks of printing, mistakes and reprints. We took the droid to Singapore Comic Con for display at our booth and it was fun watching fans lose their minds.

Approximately 1.9m tall, it weighs approximately 50kg and it has steel and aluminum reinforcements inside.

Some weathering and a few more details to finish and then it's off to it's new owner. After seeing the love it got, we might consider building a second one as soon as we recover lol.

Sadly I wasn't around during SGCC as I was overseas, so missed seeing the droid in person. But I'm curious, how do you transport it? Can you disassemble it into a few pieces, or is it fixed?

No worries. I'm sure you'll see us again. It can be broken down and transported in my car. Just a lot of pieces. Assembly takes about 15 mins.
