Harry Potter Props and costumes

Hey,

I just printed my Hogwarts Hymn replica and added the Gold Foil. I'm pretty happy with the result as the gold foil heat transfer is not an easy task.
Here are some pictures of the original Hogwarts Hymn :

Thank you,

I don't plan to sell it in my shop as it is expensive to create and I won't be able to create lots of them. I am currently selling the Hogwarts Hymn for $55 including shipping.

I could aged the paper, but I am not sure the real prop is print on aged paper when I look at my references pictures.

Thanks for the High Quality files Monster_05.

Speaking of props...I heard a rumor that the HP exhibit will possibly be coming to Atlanta, Georgia this year; anyone heard that?

Really? That would be cool if it did, as I'm closer to Atlanta than Boston. According to their site, they are going to Toronto next, from April to August. Maybe it will be in Atlanta after that? Let's hope!

I saw it in Chicago during its last week there, snagged some great photo's as security was kinda laxed at the time. It was kinda dark so some of the pictures didn't turn out as I didn't use a flash. :)

I saw it in Chicago too, but didn't get any pix. Can you post your pix for all to see? Or possibly make them available via ftp or even email?

I thought I'd post a pic of the Death Eater Mask prototype I've finished up recently.

It's shot here with one of my Dark Arts spellbooks and a nastly looking wand made from Willow and a big antler tine from a Scottish deer.
The wand is a prototype too really, I'm in the process of making some that light up, but just can't find the time!

Cheers

That death eater mask looks amazing pete! I love the book in the background as well, was that made by you too.

Thanks! I altered an old encyclopaedia that I found at the dump in to the spellbook. Printed a template of the title then cut the letters into the top layer of the book's cover so it gives the illusion of being stamped in. Then applied gold leaf into the indentations. Then went to town weathering it with all sorts of stuff. The design is loosely based on the Advanced Potion Making book on the cover of the adult (UK?) version of "Half Blood Prince"

I've done another of these titled "The Darkest Arts" and have a few more mouldy old dump books waiting for conversion.

Cheers

Pete

Rob,

:) I live in downtown Atlanta!! I haven't heard any rumors, but I'll be listening.

ATL Kenobi

That's sweet! I was at D-Con a few years ago, and we did the downtown parade route....and, we go through The Big A on the way to Ellijay quite a lot (the wife's relatives live there)...I really liked historic, downtown Atlanta! :thumbsup (I'm a Braves fan, too....:))

I read the rumor in a thread over at The Leaky Cauldron...if I hear more, I'll let you know! :cool
Rob

I love the book also, maybe a little more info or another thread explaining your process would be nice, I have some old books that I could convert.
