Thanks .. I'm a photographer by trade, so that helps. (Or at least, try to have it as my job in these rough economic times. ) But your Paper props also look amazing . I should pick some up some day, if my finances will ever increase. (and I stop buying cool macro lenses )
Here are some more pics of my small collection.
Mostly Noble stuff, but the Coins where a different set, and the Key was one that belonged to an old closet. Will be on it's way to the plater for a gold colour.
And this (poorly painted) piece also will be on it's way to the plater for a better (and more correct paintjob).
Just got Slughorn's wand. It's awful. The slime is bright silver which makes it look like a toy. There is no metal rod in the wand so it is very light, adding to the toylike feel. The shape is nice, the crooked end is very nice, but the paint is unforgivable.
Really, I take it, the wand is fragile then. Shame.
But the painting detail is different on every one of the wands of Noble - you can get some really detailed painted wand and then some can (like the Harry's wand in the set versions) be painted awfully as if they rushed it!
I've ordered all 3 of the new wands, so I just gotta hope they'll be OK for me!lol
Great photos Kris, it would be cool if you could do a wallpaper with your Potter stuff. I would instantly put it on my desktop. For example the Time-Turner, the Locket, the Ring, the Acceptance Letter as background and so on. Please think about it
