Tenno, I'm going to make a suggestion that is said in complete love and friendship:
Have you thought about making a paper prop on your own? I think you're really depriving yourself of all the fun the Hobby
™. You've also made it clear that you don't have a lot of money to spend on props, and paper props are a great place to start if you're creatively rich but cash poor.
I think the Sirius Black poster would be a great start. The image of the screen-used piece Monsters posted would be easy to modify into a suitable printable (especially if you don't want to spend any money). Here is a link to a HUGE version of it:

Of course, I wouldn't start you down this path without a little assistance, so here are some FREE resources for you to tap:

If you want to dump a parchment texture behind it
When you are done, print it, take a picture of it, and start a new thread about it! Since you are new to paper propping, it's best to start your own thread so that you can respond to praise and critique without de-railing the main HP thread. Believe me, you'll find no shortage of critics on the RPF, but everyone is usually quite gentle. If they aren't, you'll find that they fit more into the category of taker than maker.
You're probably also concerning yourself with accuracy. As you are just beginning, I wouldn't worry too much about it, and 99.9% of your friends IN REAL LIFE will recognize what you made and worship you for it. Besides, you're not getting any better at making paper props by sitting around asking for them, you need to be doing. :thumbsup
Hope this helps!
