Hi KellieMarie,
Great job on the slug repellent :) I have been in love with that prop since I first saw it in Chamber of Secrets. I have been hunting yard sales and flea markets for years looking for just the right container.
My son made a find a few weeks ago that might do so, I may be having a go at this too in the near future :rolleyes
Thank you for inspiring me!!

so Cute,..:3

Awe...gee...thanks.:$

Woozelmom,

Thank you *feeling all warm and fuzzy.* You come up with some great stuff...can't wait to see your interpretation. :love

wow, so much new stuff! it's all great!

I messaged the person ebay telling to remove the items. I think I've this guy selling these before, he's been at it for quite sometime. hopefully other people will message him too, more messages can only be better.

great olympic posters, I voted for elliots before relizeing that the london tube one was lemon's. all the finalits are great design, and all so british!

the hogwarts picture below is from the box of my new jigsaw puzzle. It's a challenging puzzle, but such a pretty picture! I'm enjoying it very much!

over the last couple days I've made up a bunch of books from covers from this thread, 10 in total, I think. I've also been making a skirt for my Hogwarts uniform as I haven't been able to find one that's suitable. It's looking good so far!

I too love the Slug Repellant prop. I made mine back in 2008. It's a very simple label that I made. Hoping someday to find a good image of the real label.

Very cool. And love the mandrake.....your design?

I think someone posted a couple of images of the original. Might want to check decat's reference list. It's in her signature.

Hopefulhp,
Wow, I love your version of the Slug Repellent as well and it looks fabulous with the Mandrake!!!! Boy, now I really am getting inspired to pull out my container :)

Decat,
I LOVE that puzzle. I did the same one. I have to say that it is the most challenging puzzle I have ever done. The reason for me was that it has so many purples and blues and the brush strokes are in all different directions so it is very difficult to pick out the pieces for each section going by color. I found that a very bright working light was essential.

Here is a picture of my puzzle that I put in a frame. The frame is a little big on the sides so I have to paint the backing black to blend in better. I just haven't gotten around to do it yet :$

Enjoy your puzzle :)

Okay guys, I am now a man on a mission. I am looking for several tins which I believe to be tea tins in the UK. We all know now that MinaLima seem to use Asian based items for their base products, hence the oolong tea boxes, and tin, and the Panda wafers. I am attaching the tins with details to look for if you are in the UK or have an Asian Grocery mart near you. I believe if we can identify these obscure tins that we can get that much nearer to making almost all the things we see in the tour display. I've included the Sugared Butterfly Tin, Out to Lunch Tin, Glow Gum Tin, and Charm Choc tin. Good Hunting!

that nice, you have a good eye of it,..they are Chinese Products, except for Pandan Wafer,..you can buy it here

@jhadha, it looks like the original front cover, with a made up spine and back.

@wooze, I found that it is much easier to distinguish the colours iin the daylight- when I tried working on it in the evening all the peices looked the same! it would probably be my most challenging jigsaw too. It would be nice to display it when I'm done, I'll have to find some way to do that without sticking it. I'll let you know when I'm done!

Here are pictures of my books and Daily Prophets I printed, The DPs are A3 size, about the same as our tabloid-size newspaper we have here, or twice the size of a sheet of printer paper. The files are all from this thread. Hogwarts a history is from deviant art, modified with parts of hinky's cover, as she only did the front. tales of beedle the bard is a sort of dust cover, sitting on my muggle copy of beedle.

very nice decat,..good job,..although there's a error of the spine of the book,..but it looks great,..(y)thumbsup:thumbsup for that
