Actually I can't :thumbsdown I'm sorry, but I haven't got neither the software nor the skills I'd need to recreate the picture after taking out the letters. I'd advise you to ask Hinky whether she could give you the picture of the man alone but I think she's too busy to answer to everyone's requests... Maybe somebody else can do it... :)

:) this my progress of my rubby o chicken from Weasley products,..but i need a good reference for it,..for some detail,..

deleted,..its already done

You can make anything you like, whether it's been done in the past or not. The whole point of replicating props is to have fun, so don't avoid fun or interesting projects just because someone else tried it before you!

thought this may interest you guys as its a different version, a friend took the pic at the wb studio tour in london.

ok sorry for that,..i just want to recreate according to the tour,..:facepalm

I didn't mean you can't do it... I'm sorry if it sounded like that! :confused I just thought you were going to spend hours on it to then find out it had already been done; it would've been horrible! (at least in my opinion...)

Hi there,
Please forgive me for this as I'm sure it's been asked for many times, but does anyone have the font used on the Hogwarts letters?
I have looked but my eyes hurt after looking at all this amazing paper props on this site. ( it's like geek porn to me )
I would like to send a ticket to the Harry Potter Studio Tour to a mate in a Hogwarts Acceptance letter.
If you could please PM me I would be a happy little Hufflepuff. ( and may I say how proud I am to be a Huffle )

Thank you

Well, Just came back from the HP Tour last night, but was too shattered to post anything, so left it for today. What an amazing place, there is so much to see, already planning a second visit, but it will have to be in a few months time.

Because the tour contains all the original props, most of them are either behind glass cases, or behind railings to stop fans getting to close... making it really difficult to get hi-quality photos without a powerful camera lens. The glass cases either reflect the lights from the studio and my flash or the items are just too far.

@jhadha - most of the prophets and quibblers were front covers only. The back pages have either been posted or have been made already, but I did take some photos anyway.
@ibspitfire - the can of Fergus was right at the back of Harry and Ron's room in the Gryffindoor tower, making it impossible for a close up.
@Norbet - know you wanted a few things. The proclamations, like in the movies, are high up on a wall, with a huge ladder in front of them. Couldn't get any hi-res shots. Same with the inquisitorial badge in the great hall. It was on a Malfoy's robe with was behind the Slytherin table, which was again behind the railing.

A lot of people were asking for books - these were in to top of the display case making it very tricky to capture. Had to turn off my flash as it was making a reflection.

The Weasley Products and Badges/Buttons were quite easy to photograph as they were at the bottom of the display case.

I DON'T want to sound negative in anyway... this tour was amazing and definitely worth the money. Its just the particular items people asked for were difficult to capture.
