Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

I might run a batch of them soon, right now all I have is the tan you see there but Im going to order gold chrome and a matte that is closer as the background but this one in person is really close. It will cost me a little bit of money so unfortunately I would probably have to ask for some money like $1.50 to $2.00 to cover the stamp ink and vinyl.

I put one on my dusty guitar since it was a tad bigger that the original.

Hey Tig :) Haven't seen you in a while!!!!

Totally awesome that youve got a cutter. I did vinyl graphics for about 7 years before I moved to where I am now. If you ever cut letters to go on any of these books (or stuff like the diamonds around beedles book) let me know and I can send you the vector files. Everything I make is vinyl cut ready. Old habits :)

That would be interesting, never cut vinyl for a book before (haha) but I'll try just about anything if you have the file send it on.

Yea I pop in and out, been real busy with bikes for customers, If it wasnt for work I would have all kinds of time (lol)

Heres the cutter, I got bored just now and cut a few to stick on my laptop and other things.

Crappy thing was I couldnt use the cutter for awhile becuase I needed windows XP and the newer computer I couldnt get XP on it so I had to beg around to friends and family to find a older computer and my father inlaw ended up giving me a older dell laptop that works perfect so Im back in business (lol)

I just looked at the specs on this laptop and its almost vintage (lol) Windows XP home version 2002 with service pack 1 and a 1.4GHz and 1 GB ram..... With a massive 20GB hard drive.... Smokin....... I would put the other service packs on but now that I got it all working I dont want to mess anything up (lol)

I've been trying to get accurate replicas of candy boxes and have had no luck, so a couple of days ago i decided to scan my wizarding world beans box and make it more screen accurate. I might just do some others, but the ones that have to be recreated from ground up will take more time.

I've attached here the full file of the modified Every Flavor Beans box and included some instructions on where to cut and fold as well, because there is quite a bit of cutting around the feet area to form the bottom. I wanted the box to be one piece instead of a separate bottom. Depending the cardstock you use, a piece of 6 cm x 6 cm cardboard can be placed inside to strengthen the floor of the box without any issues.

Send me a message for the full size file.

Blue lines are fold lines, and the black are cut lines. The rest should be pretty easy to figure out.

Here is a comparison of the original and my replica. The cardstock I used is slightly thinner than the wizarding world product, but about the same thickness as the prop. The wizarding world one is a real world product, so naturally the packaging is more sturdy. A piece of cardboard did the trick just fine to add a nice sturdy ground for the beans to sit on.

For the windows it's pretty easy to find some clear plastic from a bag of some sort and glue them to the inside of the box!

Also the original has two small pieces of foil tape on top to keep it closed; I'm still looking for something similar to use.

I won't be back to my computer for a couple weeks yet tig :(

I'm glad you are using flexisign. Thats the best program ever. I really wish I had that on my computer at home, designing all this HP stuff would be a million times easier and quicker

A little off topic on paper props but some might find it interesting enough.
I found a few years ago a cool prop from Harry Potter or I should say a item that they used but not actual the item.
Its a camera Collin Creavey was carrying around snapping pictures and its called the Argus C3 also called "the brick" and you can get these things for dirt cheap. I cant remember but its in one of my videos I think I paid $20.00 for it.

Heres a link to the video

Well.....It looks to me like the thread is back and as strong as ever. Thanks everyone for the great props being posted. We have no lack of talented people in here.

@bfd, the form is fantastic, thanks for the watermark free version.
@ecl, the box looks really cool! I CAN'T wait to make it!
@hinky/eviltig, what is vinyl printing and stuff, please catch me up to speed.
@eviltig, how did you make the Olivanders box? What kind of cardboard and stuff did you make and where did you get it? I want to make some Olivanders boxes but don't know how.
@nickilenart, if your still around, how's progress on adv. potion making? What other books are you working on?
