Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

Nicki, the Beedle the Bard cover is really nice!
The new Weasley stuff is great, Hinky! My husband actually wants to make the boxing telescope so it's so cool that there will be a box with it. I forgot to say in my post with the link to our pohoto album that I have printed out a lot of the book covers and Weasley packaging too I just haven't gotten pictures of them yet.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone! We don't know too many HP fans so it's nice to get feedback from people who really know the story and appreciate the theme. Much of what we've done will probably be lost on the guests, but as long as our son is happy that's all that matters!

The package is from CrazyDiamond... They made a lot of fonts for the movies. Unfortunately, the package is $120, but it includes all the daily prophet fonts, some fonts from dumbledore's office and Lockhart's font.

What do you mean prize?

I bought the Crazy Diamond 17th Centure Print font years ago after tracking down Crazy Diamond. I LOVE that font. I've used it for quite a few things in general to give that old type look. Well worth it.

@djpk19 Dunno, I don't know dimensions, my beedle is blue version by bloomsbury.

Oh ok. The blue one and the other one are the same size just different covers. I found some fabric paper at the art store. I want to print it on that and glue it on. Is there a high resolution one or is what you posted it?

Pics:
Here is Magical Water Plants of the Highland Lochs and my dumbledore will on nicer paper. This was a nice starter book because it's only the front and is supposed to be weathered so a little rip or something won't hurt.
Still working on sizing stuff for beedle. may have it done tonight if I finish my HW in time.

Hi Hinky,
Here is my Boxing Telescope Box finally finished thanks to you :)
I am doing a Weasley project thing that has a lot of components this is part of it. I will post more pics when I am done. This box is meant to hold my double pointed knitting needles. The box pulls open and the needles are inside. Hope you all like it. I will be making your Weasley Wand box too to hold my pencils. :lol

I got beedle bard done, it's not nearly as nice in person... I think I'll do a take two sometime soon, but it was great practice!
just, fyi magical water plants was actually a book called Abnormal Phycology and Beedle was an "Art-Type" edition of Little Women. There is a book store in my town that sells books (not all books, just some that are in crates out on the street) for 50 cents, or $1 for three, it's really awesome because my books are costing me next to nothing (except like $80,000 in ink!).

Looking Good!

If you aren't happy with the Beadle book, remember that it's supposed to be slightly old, so it doesn't matter if it didn't turn out perfectly... At least I'm guessing it is supposed to be old, because... Well, I'm just guessing to be honest... P: But in my opinion, it doesn't matter that it isn't perfect.

I'm sorry if this is repetitive but I really didn't feel like reading through all 43 pages on this thread. First this stuff is amazing and I plan on printing a lot of it out. I don't know if it's just me or my computer but none of the links to photobucket work, it just says page not found? Also I was wondering (if it's not too much trouble) if you could make spines for Advanced Potion making and Unfogging the Future? I'd love to display these books on my book shelf as if they're real books :p

@djpk19, Thanks!
@Starairi, I know it's supposed to be old and weathered and stuff. It isn't, the paper isn't quite lined up properly and you can see the white on the inside. I was, however, smart enough to put the seam on the back!
@Peskipiksi, I suggest reading the whole thing, there are more props buried inside and its actually very fun/exciting to read! And this way you can get acquainted with the rest of us who have been here for a while. It's not a complete waste of time, it's pretty interesting so.... my two cents

I didn't mean for it to sound like I thought it was a waste of time. I got around page 4 and then got too excited about making these books that I had to skip ahead.

Just testing to see if I can get images on here from the Noble HP Artefact Box. If it works, I will edit and continue adding more.
Edit: Thanks for letting me know how to do thumbnails! The only thing I left out was the 11 x17 wanted poster of Sirius because it was rolled up and too large to scan. The Dumbledore's Army is long too so some is cut off.

Hi elfstacy,
I am not to great with computer stuff so if someone here has a better way to attach a thumbnail please let me know. I would like to learn too :0)
When you go to make a post go to "Quick Reply". Click on "Go Advanced". Type your message then scroll down to the next box "Additional Options". Then click on the "Manage Attachments" button. A box will pop up. It is blank boxes with "Browse" to the left of them. Click on "Browse" and it will take you to your computer. Find the image that you want to attach and double click on the image. That should bring you back to the pop up box. Add all the pictures you want in that manner and when you are done, move the bar at the bottom of the pop up box over to the right and you will see an "Up Load" button. click on it and wait while your pictures upload. You will see a little indicator that your pics are loading at the bottom of the pop up box. Then "x" out of the pop up box. Look above the "Manage attachments" button and you should see the files you attached. Then hit "preview" post to make sure your thumbnails are there. If everything went well hit the "submit reply" button.
Let me know if it works for you.
