Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

Hey all!

So this is what I've been busy with:

1. What might have been in those (rather large, in my opinion) books in the Great Hall in the Goblet of Fire movie. Right about when Dumbledore announces the Triwizard Tournament. Since we don't actually get to see what the wonderful Graphic Arts Department did with it (we can be sure they did - they always do), I just gave my own interpretation.

2. My first version of the Gladrags advert. Hopefully another one is forthcoming very soon!

3. What I'm currently busy with. See if you can guess what it is!

P.S. The Ministry logo IS one I found on here!

Just want to say you spelled Lockhart wrong on the last part; you spelled it Lochart.

There are more pages from the Page to Screen limted edition posted on Amazon!

Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey (Collector's Edition): Bob McCabe, Jody Revenson, Moira Squier: 9781612185910: Amazon.com: Books

there are two sets of preview pages: one at the top, click 'look inside' near the picture of the book, and more pages if you scroll down the page. you'll need to sign into amazon to see all the pages.

There are more book covers in there, and it even shows the endpapers of some of the books, and many of the covers have spines and backs- great for making our replicas more accurate!

wow very nice; they even have the endpaper patterns for some of the books there. Awesome! Someone needs to buy this set haha.

Always wanted to do a Daily Prophet so here's a WIP on an original front page. Needs a little tweaking here and there but it's getting there.

Updated image a little further along.

Looking good bfd! Daily Prophets are among my favorites. I like the subject matter and titles on yours, very fun.

Hi barney,
Love your Prophet. I know what you mean, I have always wanted to try one myself as well. I wish our muggle papers were formatted so interestingly.
I love all of your headlines!!! Looks like it could have been delivered by an owl just this morning :)

I was wondering if someone can post a link to the page where you can find many of the illustrations that was used in the book props/replicas. I've seen it has been posted here somewhere before, but I can not find it. :confused

Speaking of timetables, here's a replica of the Hogwarts 1st Years' Timetable as appeared in the HP Page to Screen Book. There have been other timetables posted but I don't think any of them had the complete times and locations included.

It's done from scratch using the image in the book as a base. Prints out full size on letter size paper.

HI everyone!!

This is my first post.
I took a look at the noble collection- Hermione momorabilia box and glimpsed the timetable.

I thought it a really clever design and redid it for my studies at university.. I created a blank version to print it out and fill in the courses.

I hope you like it!

Thanks ec and wooze.

I agree with you wooze, I have always preferred the look and the offbeat format from the earlier versions of the Prophet so that's why I chose to do one in that style.

It was fun putting together the picture, headlines and making up the stories. The hard part was fitting the text between the headlines (lots of trial and error). I'll try to finish it off before I get sidetracked and on to something else...:lol

@Leostardust86: A muggle use for an HP item, great idea.

Thanks to everyone that has shared on this thread. I have begun making props to add to my collection for an HP themed party next year. The first batch are the result of posts shared by Ecl (Riddle memory vial label), Jhadha (Droobles label), OliverSnape (grim tea cup), PhoenixVader (Ten Second Pimple Remover), and Norbert (U-No-Poo topper). Can't wait to get started on another batch. Thanks again to everyone!

I have been a big time lurker on this board but it's time for me to post.:lol

I want to say that all of you are fantastic artists! I have been able to use the paper props you have made to make a couple of shadowtrays for my daughters that are absolutely super HP fanatics! As soon as I can figure out how to post photos I will post them!

hopefulhp,
Fantastic job!!!

czycropper,
Please do post pictures.

I LOVE to see pictures of the completed props and to be able to appreciate the collaboration of efforts that go on here :)

Here's the finished Daily Prophet front page I was working on. The header/logo is not the best but it is not too far out.

Download the pdf for higher res image. I wrote actual stories for each of the headlines rather than using Lorem Ispum "dummy" wording.
