Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

Hi Hinky,
I just got my Design Gallery in the mail today and I see what you mean. From a prop perspective there really isn't much I can do with it but I also do Harry crafting and I will probably be able to make use of it at some point. I was kinda disappointed though. I was hoping there would be a few good things in it that would be helpful prop wise. :unsure

@hinky... Just sayin.... EAGERLY awaiting your uploading of beetle bard :)
And, as always, thank you so much for all the wonderful work you've put forward for the rpf community. I was running out of display space, but now I'm moving to a new house and I'm COMPLETELY arranging my new room specifically for all the stuff you've made.

OWLs IN PROGRESS Black Board

Here's a little project I just finished up.

I can't remember where I found it but at some point I found a nice version of the OWLs IN PROGRESS blackboard without any chalk written info on it.

I added the chalk info to complete the blackboard and attached a hi-res image.

Prints out at 8.5" x 14" long (legal size paper). Hope ya got lots of black ink left!!

Thanks to whomever posted the original image.

NOTE: Moved image to the first page under Order of the Phoenix

Very cool bfd!!! You aren't kidding about needing enough black ink :lol I think it would be worth it though :) Thanks for another great project!!

More goodies from Barneyrfd:), I'm gonna run out of memory if you and Hinky keep making all these wonderful props.

I have been working on a very special project for everyone lately, and I do apologize that its taking me forever. This project will also be something I'm putting in the interest thread in case anyone wants to purchase any of them. They will be getting professionally printed :)

I mustn't say more! I'll give it away!

Hinkey: You have my curiousity up and my attention. I can't wait to see what you have for us :)

bfd: I can't wait to see whay you have come up with too!!! Very exciting!! :)

:thumbsup :thumbsdown ?
:wacko <-- me while I'm waiting

I haven't had an actual day off since April 5th, and I won't have a day off again until May 2nd, so everything I've been working on has been an hour here and there. i'm going to try and get everything finished in the next couple days, but if all else fails, it'll be May 2nd

Wow! you sound awfully busy! I had the same problem last month, I was in Hairspray (which is actually VERY intense) and Guys and Doll at the same time! I didn't have a day off for WEEKS! (which seems like years when your 15)

@everyone, I was at AC Moore today scouting for decorations and I found these wonderful cardboard boxes that are shaped like old-fashioned leather books! They come in several sizes and are PERFECT for Hinky's book covers!

Hi Hinky,
AC Moore is a craft store like Michael's :) Oh, BTW Michael's has leather books too that are boxes. They look really great but they all have embossed or printed designs already on the covers and spines. I would have know idea how to remove it or cover it over. I don't know if just glueing paper on top would like right. Any suggestions?? If anyone is interested, the next time I go there I can take a pic and post it.

I was also at micheals picking up potion bottles, I saw those other boxes too, but they already have covers printed on them so if anyone saw even a glimplse of the spine it would look ugly

Speaking of spines... Hinky, if you get a chance could you put up some repeating backrounds? I tried my hand at photoshopping the foreground out of some books... It was a DISASTER! I'm not very talented with PS :p

I've seen the leather ones at Michaels... but arent those expensive? If not, then I'm gonna have to take a peak of em.

Actually Luke, Part of one of the big secrets I've been working on includes spines and back covers of books

HOWEVER if these carboard and leather books are cheap, I can do like what I did with the potions and design them to fit those books. I wont be able to make it to a Michael's until next Sunday if I'm lucky, so if anyone happens to stop by to a craft store, take a peak at the pricing!

Oh gosh! Now I'm even more excited!

At Michael's there were cardboard book boxes made to look like old leather books and actual leather boxes. I didn't look at the prices though
The AC Moore boxes were plain recycled cardboard, different sizes (but usually smaller than Michael's ones) and ran about $3-$5 a piece

Hey Hinky (or anyone who has the design graphics DVD) is there any info and/or pics about the time-turner there? I just started a thread called "The Time-Turner Page" because I'm trying to make a more SA than Noble time turner and I'm looking for all the help I can get!

I dont recall seeing any time turner stuff on there. I can check if youd like but honestly youd have better luck bribing someone to take screenshots of the movie time turner with a bluray player
