I think he's just excited to get moving on the project. He doesn't say "this is the DL-44 we're using for the new movie". He's just posting an available photo, probably from the set of TFA. I read production doesn't start until like January?
I don't see it as lying. I think people may be interpreting this too literally?

Well, he is the best option of all the other candidates, and for me he has the basic scoundrel thing... BUT, Han Solo IS Harrison Ford. Point.

I've never seen him in anything as far as I know but I would of preferred for the Han solo character to stay unmolested. But money always wins... I personally liked Anthony ingruber but it's possible the casting department didn't like what he had to offer.

going for the bubble gum crowd I guess. Seems like he can act ok but better never stand next to Ford. Even with his 70+ year old hunch he'll be a foot taller !

Evike is trustworthy, and I don't think the Umarex was used. It was HFC and Marushin. It's a lot of pages, but you can read through the thread for more info.
