Is there a story campaign with this game..or is it mostly designed for online multiplayer mode?

Is there any on-line play planned for REACH? Or will it be like ODST?
There's a full campaign. It's purported to be a sequel to Halo: Combat Evolved (which was the first Halo game). In the campaign storyline, you're defending the planet Reach, the last remaining human outpost in the battle against the attacking Covenant race.
Or so I've read. I've not played the game, and to stay spoiler-free I haven't dug around much deeper than that.
The Wook
Prequel actually. You are defending the planet Reach, which the Covenant have just assaulted. Events occur in lead up to Halo: CE. I have not played it yet so I don't know how directly the storylines do or do not cross.
I LOVE those live action vids. The music on this one is (I hate to say it) epic any idea who did it? Just watched the unboxing on youtube with bungie. Sounds like the Legendary will be actually a limited addition this time around..time will tell.
I mainly want the journal..from what I can tell in the vid it looks pretty sweet!
I gotta say, suprised that Shade hasn't posted on her, I think he is getting it right now as I type, I had the money to pre-order any version I wanted, but felt that I would rather spend the money on a sure thing as I am constantly disappointed by Halo 3, and I've never actually played ODST, but have heard that the storyline was rushed and thrown together, for people who have gotten Reach, what's your take, is it anywhere near as good as Halo 2? BTW, lets not forget Halo Wars, that game bit two, and no one argues that, so I didn't want to take the chance (Good thing as I now need the money to buy a jazz mouth piece for my sax.) But I'm wondering if I should save up for it or not.
