Halo: Reach-2 days!!!!!

Not on my machine. I've done the assassination 100 times several different ways and never get the achievement. If the elite moves I die when I hit the ground so I'm doing that part right. I've tried several places in the game and it has never unlocked.

It took me 260+ tries to get that achievement (my stats show I died 267 times on that level and I know when I actually played through it I died no more than 3 or 4 times). I finally got it though, after just getting the right combination. The only thing I did differently when I finally did get the achievement was that I didn't take as long of a running start before I jumped. I doubt that had anything to do with it, but maybe. Also, I landed slightly to the side of the Elite when I performed the assassination, so I wasn't right on top of him.

Okay so I just discovered that if I go to my Achievements tab in my dashboard it tells me for Halo I have 44 out of 49. If I click on Halo and go in to look at the individual achievements I have 46 out of 49. This probably explains why I can't get the Elite achievement. Grrrrrr.....stupid bugs....
