Oh, I've been watching the Halo Reach ads over and over!! I really like how cohesive the videos are for the hardcore fans and still appeal as self-contained videos for the casual and new to the franchise gamers.

Did you know that Joseph Kosinski (Director of Tron Legacy, and a multitude of my favorite Gears of War and Halo 3 videos) was creative consultant on the "Deliver Hope" video?

I'm headed off to one of the Midnight releases @ Best Buy! I already pre-ordered the Legendary Edition.

I visited a few GameStops and it sounds like they'll be giving away DLC, t-shirts, caps and posters. Also, at one of the stores, the Manager gave me one of the Halo Reach cardboard banners for free because they had an extra. How cool is that?!

I'm really excited too! I'm just gutted that the place I preordered from didn't dispatch early. Some of my friends have also been playing it already and I am really envious! Oh well, not long to go now before my Legendary Edition will be on my doorstep!!

Yea, the one cool thing about the legendary edition is that it comes with some "props" to hold onto as a collection. I'm really interested in the Halsey's journal

Pre-ordered from Amazon.com (there were better pre-order deals, but already had a gift card for Amazon.com) and got a $20 video game credit which will then be used towards a pre-order of Fable 3 which will get me another $20 video game credit which will then be used to pre-order...etc.

I ordered the system as well, and the release fortunatly falls on a payday so I can finish paying it off :lol Good thing I had sold my previous systems in time! :angel

The shuttle ride back to my barracks with the space crate and xbox is going to be interesting....

Just like I did with Halo 2 and Halo 3, I'll wait until Christmas when life slows down and I have more downtime to devote to the game. Completing the campaign 4 times--Normal, Heroic, Legendary, and Legendary with Skulls--is just so time consuming. I have no problem waiting. I'll enjoy the game much more then, especially without the guilt that I should be working on Earth instead of killing Covies on Reach.

Yea, when 3 came out, I couldn't put the thing down for multiplayer and kinda forgot about reality a few times.. :unsure
