I got that from another maker who goes by "Ithaca" on the 405th. I didn't write about it here, but I did a writeup on the build in my blog. You can see the step-by-step by clicking HERE.

In response to the weight question, I think the larger suits weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 40lbs and the smaller one is closer to 30.

In other news, I managed to crank out eight more suits in time to go out on Halloween:

Sadly, our Tex cancelled on us and we only managed to muster seven folks in time to go out.

I've been here @ therpf for alittle bit, stopping in at different thread from time to time. And I've seen really nice work, you know Iron man, halo, tron, captain Jack, and I could go on and on. But , that would mean That I would have to start another thread. So what I'm trying to say is .....WOW!!..... you are by far , with out a doubt, hands down, The Master builder of all builders! You have shown all of us from start to finish your build and myself and others like me, thank you for your time and your inspiration in building replica armor, and other costumes. I again THANK YOU ! I've been going around collecting up pictures from friends and family so I could have a few more to post here.

First up, my sister got her MARPAT desert helmet a while back and finally got a chance to go down to the armory on her base and send me a few pics:
