Seamail?4 months in the waiting and it made it.
Nice score, whats the deal with the paintup?
Congrats! :thumbsup
So... are you in the "Cool, my head fits!" camp, or the "#@%&! I hope that doesn't leave a scar!" camp?
Seamail?
Yeah, the paint is a bit odd as the one on the movie was not quite chrome but there certainly was no paint on it. It was more of a brushed metal look.
Are you suggesting that this is an official Factory X variant? It has the tag in the helmet and the trade mark plate in the front. I know all of this can be faked but it is a different piece than what is commonly out there.

I don't recall Factory X offering any like this. I figured it was a standard Factory X repainted by the original owner.
I'm with you. The helmet in the ad looks best. Too often the case! :lolI personally would love the helmet to look more like the add than either one of them.
Hang around here long enough and who knows? You might develop the skills to put the helmet in the ad to shame. Not being a skilled hobbiest I guess I am stuck. Unless someone here will be up to the task at a later date.
That's simple oxidation? I thought the helmet had been worked on by Jackson Pollock! What you're seeing here is rust, not a variant.

Now THAT looks like oxidation, but I've never seen that kind of oxidation too... :confusedPaint scheme or Oxidation? :confused
