Great read, embarking on the same journey myself. Got a dream vette on order from eBay and got a trick or treat gizmo coming from Amazon. Any chance I can get a set of decals for the car and luggage ? Happy to post the project on here and share my gratitude

Basically going to improve the trick or treat gizmo and convert the dream vette into an RC car for use at comic con events

managed to secure these coming over from ebay USA

got some of the Tamiya Subaru Brat wheels, tyres and bolts on order as well.

Need to find a decent RC platform for it now.

and these to replace the poor painted eyes on the Trick or treat Gizmo, dont know how well the colour and size will be until they arrive

Currently converting one of the dream vettes on the Tamiya sand scorcher's chassis similar to what the used in the original movie

Still looking for the Barbie Dream-Vette stickers if anyone can help, to freshen up the stickers on the 2 i have and i want to build a third.

You'll need to cut the cage off the back i know that. I thought once I got the chassis right that would be it but the shell fitting wax where I struggled but got it sorted in the end. Anyway send me you email and I'll see if I have the stickers on file for you

Yes might 3D print some sort of mount and use strong magnets to mount the shell.
