you know, as much as I DREAD That is the case, I'm willing to bet it's true.

Supposedly the reason they are in the firehouse at the end now, is because reitman wanted it, so as to prevent continuity issues. Or maybe something happens with this time travel scene that connects all of them now? they travel back in time, a young egon and ray see them, get the idea, and start ghostbusters... then that changes their history and..

my brain got fried again..

They time travel to a decade before the 1984 Ghostbusters just to make sure there's never any JJ Abrams "Star Trek" style retcon allowing the original team to exist first in this universe. If Stantz and Spengler should decide to hunt ghosts, it will have been because they saw these ladies on the news.

Please god tell me you just made that up to **** everyone off.

Once again a new trailer reveals the leaked Reddit info about the movie is in fact being confirmed with each new trailer with new footage. Ugh. What a pile of garbage.

Every line Pattie has, so far, been something that any one of us could make up. And what the hell is she talking about by it being "different"? Its different in the sense that its worse, doesnt improve on the mythos and not funny at all, but all the imagery is the same! Even the damn logo is the same! Oh but wait, excuse the, the original ecto 1 was an ambulance, and this one is a hearse. Youre right Leslie Jones, its totally fresh, new and different. Gimme a break. Its insulting that they think people cant see through this crap about them selling it is an original movie. Aside from the crappy CGI/slime, the library ghost scene was the same! Even their villain looks like Stay Puft! Ugh. Im sad for Chris Hemsworth for being in this.

Ii just saw the preview at the end of the re release.

there was a literal minute of stunned silence after it ended, and then someone broke it with 'what the hell was that'?

We had about 10 people in out theater. no one cheered or clapped.

and the lines just keep on getting WORSE if that is possible..

'Do you know how many federal laws you've broken?'
'One?'
'No'
'Twoooo....?'
'Just...sit and stop talking'


And some of the actors can't even deliver them properly. two guys stumbled through them. watch the guy in the mayor scene, and the guy behind the desk as they stutter through the start of their lines.

this entire thing is going to run like one giant out take. like feig said 'ok, just wing it, and whatever looks like it works, we'll use it even if it doesn't fit'.
Poor Ivan didn't even seem like he could muster up the care to even do the intro.

I thought I reached maximum eyeroll with this movie but the more I see, it just makes it worse. Wow. After watching those Im shocked. Please dont link the one for Pattie though because I already cant stand her when she is on screen.

feig does creepy laugh and then his face does a COMPLETE 180 into pissed off. if that's not definition of psychotic ;o).


these just keep on getting worse.

HOW does a retelling of the plot of ghost that takes up 15 seconds of screen time equal funny? is there even ANY script here, or is it all bad improv jokes?

Know what I find really sad? The fact that this could have been honestly funny if it was done right,overall I think those four gals could have been good as the new GB's but from what I've seen this one's gonna suck.

Wasted opportunity and all that.

I love the first...

Don't care for the second...

And didn't want the third.

But they're mixing this new movie next to where they're mixing a flick I worked on. Everyone from our crew is ecstatic... working on a movie everyone wants to see...

These guys are working just as hard... just as many hours... but are just bummed out. they look miserable. All this time and energy.

whether it's crap or not, people gave up a good chunk of their lives to get this flick done, and all they can do is hear about how it's the worst thing ever... and they haven't even screened it yet.

I'm a fan of people... and a fan of film makers... so for their sake, I hope this is just a bad marketing campaign, and it surprises everyone.

Edit - SHAME ON YOU Jimmy Kimmel. I'll give you credit though. it looks like you didn't WANT to say that 'who cares about the nerds who hate this thing' line. you kind of stumbled through it. How come every interview with this new cast comes off as akward? the audience laughs if they move a limb...nothing really funny was said.
