Fox cancels "Chicago Code"

I've just read that Fox has canceled the Chicago Code. Well poop!! I like the show. I tuned in by accident and got hooked. Sort of reminded me of Hill Street Blues for the 21st century.

Well I suppose there's more brain liquefying reality shows ready to take it's place. I'll just grab it when it's on DVD :)

Fox cancelled something??!!
Somebody restrain my sarcasm!!

If ever I produce a TV show, Fox will be the LAST people I talk to about it.

If they don't cancel it on you they'll put it in multiple time slots that make sure it will get canceled eventually. I barely remember seeing commercials for this show, did it even last a season?

The problem is, it was nothing new. How many cop shows are on now? If it was different, it wasn't marketed that way. Just looked like another cop show that didn't draw any interest.

It seems there are two types of shows on now, Reality shows and cop shows. With a dash of Doctor dramas. :thumbsdown

It's like opening a pizza joint when there are 100 pizza joints in that neighborhood.

I never saw any commercials for the show in fact I found it while bored and channel surfing.

As for lasting a season well sort of. I was reading on a blog site that the creator or producer has promised that the remaining two episodes will be "satisfying".

There were a ton of commercials, before it aired. Once it premiered, I rarely saw anything about it.

The same thing happened to Detroit 187, which, after watching most of one episode, doesn't surprise me in the least. It's a shame for the city, which probably benefited from having a show shot there in terms of fees, licenses, revenues, etc., but good lord it was generic.
