I recently made a riot trooper baton for my son using pvc.
Some resin for glue, two sizes of pvc and black, white and silver spray paint.
for the ridges for the baton, I used some thin cutted blue eva foam.
I made the extended baton part smaller than the book reference, to fit my son's size. It's not size accurate, but fun enough to play with.
