Firefly/Serenity

Dead serious and thank you. It takes forever. Well, not forever, but it takes too long. I often have to endure people saying, "Wow, if I only had the patience to do that..." As if patience alone were required. I don't have any patience, just perseverance and steady hands.

To say nothing of a fan obsession.

Thank you. The bills represent a lot of work. The owl was drawn by hand, one painful dot at a time, so I'm my own worst enemy.

My brother used to do the same thing way back in the days of nothing but MS paint.

I think they've got a 12 step program for people like y'all now. :lol

I would need some 47 steps or more, and thank you.

Inspired by MooCriket's thread about Propaganda Posters on the RPF, I threw this little number together. It's an Alliance propaganda poster from the early months of the Unification War, because nothing says 'Alliance' like a piece of propaganda.

Your not obsessed. You just really, really, really, really, really like it.:lol

The banknotes, papers and everything else were all delayed by a long dry spell followed by a gut punch. I was conserving my efforts to get some portfolio work done and chase after several jobs. I haven't had work for nearly six months. I finally got my foot in the door of a company I've wanted to work for going several years back. I was hired and retired in just a few weeks for reasons they can't even explain to me. Took the wind right out of me. I'll try to get back to all the papers, posters and currency, but I'm sort of winding back up again.

Sorry to hear about the job, I agree something like that would gut punch anyone. I'm sure something else will come along. Real life always takes priority over a hobby.

I just noticed the banknote, fantastic!

I'm sorry about the job, I wish you luck on finding another.

Thank you.

It's been long surmised that the 'Fighting Elves' are probably a rugby team (given the name and the fact that Jayne would probably follow only full contact sports), so I decided to do a rugby ticket featuring the Elves and another team. Since the classic '28' is often used I chose another team player's number for this particular ticket (and because this particular number is mentioned throughout the series). I borrowed on classic rugby tickets for the various information. I also idealized the classic Fighting Elves logo by dropping out the white bits behind the lettering. This one doesn't have a backer, but I may add one later.

Does anyone have that browncoat stardard ration sticker? I've seen it around and I wanna make my own mal foot locker.
