That would be a ammo belt I believe. This is turning out to be one awesome piece of craftsmanship, it's amazing how it went from being something so little to something so big.

I'm going to try and make the ammo belt in a self-skinning urethane rubber. I'll make a string of 30-40 clips, mould it and then cast in urethane.

I clad the frame in its first layer of ABS today.

I am picking up my dry transfers on Wednesday for the graphics for the gun and the ammo box. Can't wait.

zanderwitaz...I would normally use a table saw but on this occasion I just ran them through a band saw as it's a good one...I just checked out your blog...nice work mate!

Ah I see. Does your band saw have a fence? I still need to get one of those..

I did this coming home from Shepperton on Friday...

...not sure when I'll be mobile again to get some more work done on the gun, or anything else for that matter. Gotta go and buy a new car first. Not ideal this close to Christmas. Nobody was injured, which is the main thing. What a putz!!

I got my rear end clipped by a van as I was going round a roundabout. I spun off into a barrier, hitting another car on the way. :unsure
