Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

Ok here is a pretty clear shot of the newspaper pants -- I have a lot of photos and remember I had to take these in secret. Some are blurry so I gotta go through and see which ones are worth sharing:

Few pics showing the jacket color compared to mine:

Sadly this is the max quality these are gonna be. My friend's camera phone is only a 4s. And we had to use a program so it looked like he was talking on the phone.

It's obvious that the film jacket is pretty much a work of art if you think about it. They did a lot to that jacket to get it creased but not too wrinkled, dull but still shiny, red but still subdued, soft but apparently tough and dry due to the paint.

Absolutely!

And thanks for those pics AJ!

I dont know. JAL Said there were 3 jackets. One has a blind stitch he said.

I'm not questioning whether or not there were 3 jackets. I fully believe that. In fact I remember hearing somewhere, (maybe on one of the blu-ray commentary tracks) that Brad got to keep one of the jackets. That doesn't mean the 3rd jacket got any screen time though. My question is how the same jacket in this photo, the same exact screen used jacket from the same exhibit can have both overlap and blind stitches?

The only thing I can think of is that if this is a blind stitch in this photo that you saw with your own eyes, then it's just the angle of the shot and that's how it looks in many different shots from the movie. It really seems to protrude out, unlike the more hidden blind stitch in your example.

Aj, if you say that you are without a doubt 100% sure that you saw a blind stitch on the jacket at the exhibit then I believe you but in every image of the jacket posted, I only see the overlapping seam. This issue was brought up in the filmjackets site and many believed it was a blind stitch on the jacket used on the train. But I just can't argue with soul's high def images.

It must be the angle. We had 4 people all agree it was a blind stitch. Me, my friend, and the two people that were working there including the manager that has touched the jacket and interacted with it.

Unless there is so much paint on it that it has covered the overlapping (Is that possible) then it has to be a blind stitch. If anyone comes down you can see. They even have chairs you can bring around and sit down on. You could even stand on the chair and look over the costume.

In fact, the first JAL that was made to my knowledge was for Steve Aleve on Film Jackets. His had a blind stitch. -- JAL did say that the jackets had both though, one jacket had blind stitches one had overlapping.

Btw do the pictures help on the newspaper pants? I will go back again (Next week or the week after) and I will take some high definition pictures.

The pictures of the pants were definitely a good effort, but too hard to make out the whole pattern. I have a decent amount of it figured out already, but am limited to a very small number of reference shots and still do not have the full pattern. That would be awesome if you could try to get some better shots. Is it possible to go around to the back of the display at that exhibit? That would be really helpful too.

Yes you can see the back and sides... the reason I didn't have pictures from that angle is the way the display is setup. I will draw a quick picture sec.

Ok here is a crappy overhead view. There is also a rafter up top a guard walks on and they all have ear pieces. That isn't shown in the diagram but it goes above the Fight Club display. the Fight Club display doesn't have a wall behind it either which lets you see the costumes from the backside which is nice.
