The Boots made by Redwing Shoes, they currently still make that model. Ive checked out their website, all you got to do is head on over to a redwing store, with that style name, and they should be able to size you for that type of shoe, put in an order for it, for ya.

The brand is Red Wing, but they don't make this model anymore. This is a vintage model which I don't even know the serial number to.

there are only three Red Wing models with similarities to the FC boots and this is the only one I can't identify the serial number to. The other two are common.

I ordered my pair of OP-523 from higherthanthesun. I don't remember where they came from. But I can look for the box and see where they were shipped from. If I find it I'll let you know

thanks guys, before you responsed I was looking for vintage ankle boots in google and ended up with Redwing boots. Couldnt find this particular one tho...
Oh wow, need go back and check to see the differences. Could have swarn it was the same. Veteran guy at the store knew the exact model number I had on.

I think this is a side by side comparison of the original OP-523 and the later renditions which came in different metal and finish. Almost looks like they may even be shaped different. I think one is titanium and the other maybe be something else or titanium alloy, I don't recall

Landed some Paper Street Shades and they are great. Is the shiny metal how the 1999 version of 523 were? I have a 2009 version. Anyways the lens is different then the sunglass shack version. I will post some comparing images to sunglass shack to the 523 to paper street. I think the paperstreet lens is like how it was in the movie though.

Pss frames are shinier then original op's but original ops are shinier then the 09 frames.The lenses on the pss are also darker and more intense. They really have no rose I them. They're intense red with a bit of orange in them. Now the frame is identical in design. I doubt that the lenses in the film will ever copied exactly.

Ok here is an examination of two lens colors I have in comparison to Brad Pitts 523 from the movie. The bottom two pictures are of Brads lens, the lens are compared in each row together and the bottom row is strictly from the movie (so the top 4 squares are of my different lens). If someone has more screenshots from the movie I would be curious to see.
What do people think? Does either lens match? Which lens do you think is closest?
