Ive seen the Max Cady jackets. They’re nice and good quality, but if I was to get a Tyler jacket, I’d just spend the money and get a Jonathan Logan. I would just have him custom make it to correct the differences that don’t make it screen accurate. It’s just pretty costly. I’d also make it a bit more rust colored. Not a fan of it being too red. I think the key to having the perfect Tyler jacket is that it needs to be tailored really well. We can see that the jacket Pitt wore had short sleeves and was short in length. The sleeves were tailored like if it was a suit jacket and the length of the jacket on Pitt is tailored like a size SHORT. 40 Short or 42 Short. Whatever he wore. Who knows if all the jackets made for the film measured the same tho. The jackets the Max cady mannequins are wearing are way too long in length and sleeve length to look like a Tyler fit. I think AJ’s last lamb skin jacket he had JL make had a really close fit.
