Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

There is a black sugar replica on eBay right now. I guess it was just a matter of time after those magazine clippings went up for sale.

So the black sugar tank that is in eBay has all the same pics specs and packaging as the black sugar tank top website but the seller is listed in Florida. On eBay they're going for $299 starting bid BIN $499 lol. And the preorder on the site is $99. It's a really good replica. Black sugar tank top has updated video and pics on their site. $99 seems pretty fair

someone has bought it and is reselling it on ebay. Its all the same pictures. Stands to reason really, no everyone knows about the site and you can double your money.

i guess they must have purchased several because they're offering it in all sizes. Wonder if they just put it in a big pre-order and received their shirts early. Everyone is in the hustle

Or they're selling in advance and hoping he has the stock. That's quite risky. Or, just looking to get rich quick and not send them out, feedback and acct isn't looking very reliable.

Also, he is only selling one, but seems to say, I can get it in any size. there isn't a size drop down on the auction.

Hmmm. Yea seems shady. Like you said, it could even be a big scam and he ain't gonna send out anything.

I noticed that he is also offering a pre-order of the "Flyte" from the kickstarter campaign which went for $249. He is asking $649 BIN. Not sure why anyone would buy it when they can go direct to the website and get it for less than half that.

The shirt doesn't look bad. It's actually good if you consider that the maker didn't have all the original clippings. Think they did a good job

My only concern is quality. Made in India is like Made in China... I have bought Fight Club replicas from China and they have been absolute crap. I know the tank is 100% cotton and India is notorious for stringing the cotton so thin that it shrinks to like half its size.

I once bought an expensive long sleeve black kind of shirt from Norstrom... First wash the thing shrank so much in length my belly button was exposed and low and behold made in India. Thankfully Nordstrom has a no questions asked return policy and took it back.

Aj most clothing nowadays is made somewhere else. They're probably making it there cause they don't have the means to manufacture it here. Regardless of quality, you'll probably never own a tank top that should be priced at $300-400. A shirt is a shirt and it will still tear no matter what the quality is. $99 isn't bad if you got the money. It's really the only black sugar shirt available right now. The only one replicating fight club gear here in the U.S. Is soul. Even maxcady is overseas

I couldn't deal with the max cady sock it to me shirt. It was bad. Really hot and not stretchy enough. I could feel it tearing every time I took it off

I believe the guy is from Germany so he isn't even from the US or live here to my knowledge. I also disagree a shirt is a shirt, there is definitely a difference in quality and how it is made. I was also disappointed with the Max Cady Sock it to me as the printing was off center and yes it rips everytime.

What i meant by a shirt is a shirt is a t shirt costing $150 should probably be made in the same quality as a t shirt worth $250 or $350. The difference in cost is probably always gonna be because of the designer/brand or production costs, not material. John varvatos sells his linen v necks at $180. Is it $180 cause it's linen? Or cause that's what John varvatos wants to charge?

Another ebay find today, a 1960's Flicker Eye Ring "Hong Kong" -- Only paid 10 bucks for it which isn't bad. For those that do not know, Tyler Durden wears a flicker eye ring. I originally had one from Soulnertia (which was great) but when I was at a bar during Halloween last year I reached my hand into my pocket and the top broke off the ring (Which had the eye). Sadly, I didn't notice it till I got to the car and that was the end of that ring. I even remember hearing it hit the ground in the bar but I was thinking it was a bottle cap.

Anyways, I do not have the item yet but here is one of the images. The guy selling it is some kind of collector of every kind of Flicker Rings in general. In fact, he has a website dedicated to it which I found rather interesting to the exact insight into Flicker Rings and how they came about and who made them. Anyways, might give us some insight into exactly what type of Flicker Eye Ring Brad Pitt wore in Fight Club. I know to some it may be a minor item, but I think trying to determine what it was would be interesting. (I would guess 1970's as that is the era of all his clothing) -- It might even give us insight into exactly what the Easter Egg was (Was it suppose to be a flicker ring?)

Here is the link to his website, it is a short article and an interesting read I really recommend paying it a visit: http://www.toyring.com/flicker_ring_information.htm

Also here is the picture of the ring, I will post more pictures when the ring arrives:

I do not have any screen caps off hand of Brad with the ring but here is a promotional image that was shot where you can sort of see the ring:
