This may be relevent to you if you are looking to build practical female Predator armor. A little while back the US military was looking into making new body armor for the female soldiers because the current armor didn't fit them since it was originally designed for men. Their solution was to base the new armor on the kind that Xena Warrior Princess wore. That way it offers just as much protection but stil fits their body shape.

I'm going to begin in the next month or two. It'll probably take me a while to get mine together but in the end it'll be worth it. For what it's worth mine is probably not going to be canon since there's only so much I can do to add height to my 5'2 self

Yes - bikini maile sucks but we're talking about Yautja's here. I have always felt that the less armor you see, the more accomplished the hunter. We have alot of room to wiggle here. Despite the technology I absolutely love the primitive feel of the Predators & their gear.

I don't think I'll get to the armoring part for a bit but I can see having more flashy, ceremonial armor that represents the esteem one would hold in a matriarchal society built on the hunt.

Fun times! I look forward to seeing what people here come up with.

From what I've gleaned there isn't a "Mrs. Incredible" suit to build off of so please be patient. I am ok with this taking a year or so for the skin suit alone, but I promise to post progress once there is any.

I know that, but you females look great without wearing a muscle suit, most of you have great bodies, with all the respect, sometimes zentai airbrushed will do the trick, without taking away the sexyness of a woman

Zentai suits lead to uniboobs on their own at least on me so I'll be building on that along with muscling. I don't intend on taking it to the female body building level, but more to I guess the cross fit look. We'll see if it works out that way once I have it in front of me. I'd like to translate it to understated power. I don't know if I'm making much sense so I apologize. I just need it under my hands & look forward to the guidance you all offer.

Just obtained my half mask yesterday, and will hopefully be back to normal working hours with my job after next week, so I will be starting my build soon. Can't wait to start on my bodysuit!  It will be interesting to make all the battle damage I'm planning.  

With my lift shoes and mask on I'm standing at 6'3".  Still short for a Predator, but I'm pretty happy with it.  I will need to beef myself up though.  I look way too skinny for a powerhouse huntress and with the added height I look rather gangly.

Awesome  Will you be starting a thread for your build? I have a ton of ideas for creating the muscles without adding a ton of weight to it, but I am not sure about applying it to the body suit without sandwiching it between the suit & a second layer for "skin". So many ideas.

Yes, I will be starting a thread for the build. It will be named "Female Hive Master." I'm not 100% sure on what will be the best way to add the needed bulk, but will be doing some tests that I will post on the thread.

We are kindred spirits in this aspect. There is nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be sexy or showing her sexiness. But I think some cosplay women forget that we are more than just boobs and sex. Sexiness is better as a byproduct to our awesomeness. Sadly, I've met many girls that think that the ONLY way they would get alot of attention is to sexify their character. Which is far from the truth; at least in my experience. And I've been in costume since 1989.

Agreed. We've costumed since before the term "cosplay" was coined. What's interesting about the Pred culture is that the male's are pretty damn scantily clad too. It's an unspoken invitation to fight. I want the reptilian skin, the muscles & all the fun stuff that goes along with it - just female. I just hope to do it justice.

I've got nothing against the women that do the just "boobs & sex" thing - my groove & happy place is just on an entirely different level these days.

I'd love for you to hit me up on FB some time. I think we could collaborate & brainstorm the hell out of some awesomeness.
