Brilliant! I love the creativity shown here, AND i got a big laugh out of your last vid... NOT a criticism, it was just watching the wolf head and jaw move with YOUR voice coming out... :lol Pure magic!
Can't wait to see more!

Why thank you! One of the reasons I really like these creature costumes is because of the mechanics behind them, specifically the moving jaws. I LOVE that kind of thing. Its so cool to see the jaw move with a voice coming out, lol. I'm glad you found humor in it, it makes me feel lots better about this project. If you look below this, you'll see I've progressed a bit more!
I think I might have bulked up the schnozz a bit too much, so I'm kinda indecisive on if I should cut it down a bit. A lot of cutting down and layering back up on this kind of thing, so its good to reuse scraps for layering thin or thick. I moved the ears to the front sides of the head. Much better and more like my character concept art. Ears aren't perfectly symmetrical, but in the natural scheme of things, nobody has perfectly aligned ears, let alone animals so I'm using that as my justification. In the fursuit building community, leaving said ears this way, would be frowned upon, but c'mon, I sat for 20 minutes once trying to "Fix" my ears and make them align and gave up. It was too stressful for me and if anything is stressing me out that much, its not worth fretting over. Every head I've made has had crooked ears. You know what? I think I'll make it my trademark. Yeah!
Anyway, on more exciting notes and less ranting, we're making progress. Some things to come are matching the incline of the mane "peaks" On the top of her browline and making another pair of opposite facing wedges to descend down from them so when I fur the head, the extra flare of fur looks natural and believable as a mass of fur. I'm hoping it will look right. If not, I'll have to re do the head base in that area. No big deal, I just wish stuff would work the FIRST time. Haha, that's funny ain't it? Really funny. :cry
