Favorite Twilight Zone episode?

Anyone have any favorite Twilight Zone episodes, and/or related props?

I particularly like "Masks", as well the Talky Tina one even though that ep creeps me out.

Sooooooo many 'favorite' episodes. One favorite was 'An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge'. But you can't see it in syndication. And yes, it's not truly an episode of the Twilight Zone in the strictest sense, but it sure is entertaining.

I can't think of any props I'd want from any of the episodes, though. Perhaps a How to Serve Man book, just for laughs.

"Night of the Meek" with Art Carney. It is a Christmas episode and I have only seen it once, but it really stuck with me.

My favorites (off the top of my head) are:

'Two'
'Time Enough at Last'
'Eye of the Beholder'
'On Thursday We Leave for Home'
'The Lonely'
'The Long Morrow'

I can watch those episodes over & over. There may be others, but these are my top picks...

Dont worry so much about props; I'd like to know your favorite episodes, period. I have a running timer on the DVR for twilight zone, but never any time to watch em. Hence, I'd like some names to keep an eye out for particularly good episodes that I should save. :)

Episodes (in no particular order)

Time Enough at Last
The Monsters are Due on Maple Street
The Eye of the Beholder
The Odyssey of Flight 33
Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up
To Serve Man
The Obsolete Man
No Time Like the Past

Props? I've always wanted the Mystic Seer from Nick of Time... I wanted one that actually put out fortunes and was 1:1. Not a bobble head.

It's hard to pick my favorite episodes, because when I'm watching a marathon, my reaction is kind of like, "Wow, this is a good one," at every other episode. And the ones I've watched for potential props are not necessarily my favorite episodes overall. Right now, there are a few that come to mind - "A Game of Pool," "5 Characters in Search of an Exit," "The Obsolete Man" and "Night Call"(I think that's the name - it's the old woman who's been in several episodes who keeps getting bizarre phone calls at night). And then there are the ones that everyone loves, like "Time Enough at Last," "The Ventriloquist," "To Serve Man," etc.
Once in a while, I catch one that I haven't seen before, and it's a special treat, even if it's not one of the best episodes.

"Nothing in the Dark" with Robert Redford as a young cop is a favorite.
Actually almost all of them are favorites. :D

I cant remember the names:

-the one with the professor from gilligans island that goes into the past to stop assination of Lincoln.

-the neighborhood going crazy due to a nucleur bomb and they wreck their neighbors house trying to get into his bomb shelter

-the salvation army toys one..when they dont know they are toys and they been trying to get out of the barrel

Time enough at last has to be the one for me. Always stuck with me. I also always loved all the TZ references in The Simpsons.

My favorite one was the one where the girl was in her NY apartment and everything was getting so hot that her paintings started to melt. At the end we find out that it's really the opposite and she was suffering from a high fever and delusion because of the extreme cold.

Guy 1: "A casino where I'm winning? This must be heaven! ... A casino where I'm always winning? I must be in Hell!"
Guy 2: "No, you're on an airplane."
Guy 1: "There's something on the wing, you have to believe me!"
Guy 2: "Why should I believe you? You're Hitler!"
Fry: "Saw it coming..."

Wow. Great thread!

So many to try to remember...

Any with Robby the Robot (Uncle Simon, Whipple's...)
To Serve Man
Nick of Time
Time Enough at Last
Eye of the Beholder
And When the Sky Was Opened
A Game of Pool
It's a Good Life
Long Live Walter Jameson
Stop at Willoughby
Nightmare at 20,000 feet
Stopover in a Quiet Town
Death Ship
The Dummy
Forget it, I'm out. Just too many that I really liked or loved.
No way I can pick a favorite.

Can I add "The Demon with the Glass Hand?" :D

When it comes to The Twilight Zone I have many favorites.
One episode that hasn’t been mentioned yet is The Invaders.

"Nothing in the Dark" with Robert Redford as a young cop is a favorite.
Actually almost all of them are favorites. :D

That was one that I had never seen and randomly caught it one morning on Sci-Fi. I liked it quite a bit. I noticed that the woman is the same one from "Night Call." Another fun thing about TZ is finding out how many episodes an actor has been in. I'm thinking Jack Klugman probably did the most, or possibly Burgess Meredith.

The first one for me is "Little Girl Lost", which is one of the many Richard Matheson short story adaptations done by the show. Since I own an anthology book of short stories that were adapted into TZ episodes, you get an idea on how many episodes are adapted from Matheson's work.

Another one is "The Odyssey of Flight 33." In fact, it's clear that Stephen King found some influence from the episode with his story "The Langoliers", but I've even found influence from the episode that I sort of came up with a variation/continuation of the story. Actually, I found influence from the episode when I took this picture.

Another classic to me is another Richard Matheson adapted story which not only appeared in the original show, but was also in the "Twilight Zone" movie: "Terror at 20,000 Feet." Many people know this episode from the fact that William Shatner starred in it, but it's a pretty scary thought that something could sabotage a plane while in the air and the only person who knows of the real danger is the person that people think are nuts.

BTW, does this post also include the attempted revivals of TZ? The reason why I ask is because there was one episode I remember watching on the 1980s revival that involved a woman going to a movie theater to watch a movie, and she kept seeing replays of her life on the screen (and eventually she saw her own death on the screen). I always thought that was a pretty good one (though I can't remember the name of it).
