Favorite Movies from the 80's that nobody seems to talk about anymore

A lot of my favorite forgotten movies have already been mentioned but I don't think anyone brought up "Jake Speed".
An all time favorite guilty pleasure.
It's funny, I hated the '80s but most of my favorite movies are from then.

Howard The Duck, Brings back good memories
 
The Wizard of Speed & Time. Kind of an offbeat comedy about a special effects guy (Mike Jittlove) and his stop-motion animated demo reel for a tv show.
Own it on VHS but have not been able to get a copy on DVD.:thumbsdown
 
Throw Momma from the Train!!
I don't like Billy Crystal much, but DeVito's funny and I really like Momma. She is a real jewel!!

Good list, BTW - Not so long ago when I bought my first DVD player, I was straight on Amazon and eBay seeking out almost everything you've listed!!

I saw some of that being filmed in Calgary as we were in town visiting relatives at the time. We were waiting to be extras in the audience in the stands but after a couple of hours we got tired of waiting around and left. We did see some of the race being filmed and extras being directed to take off their coats as it was a "warm day". I have never seen the film tho.
