THE GREEN HORNET

HAVE YOU HEARD THE BUZZ?!

Factory Entertainment is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products Inc. to produce a range of collectibles and gift items relating to Columbia Pictures’ 2010 tentpole film, “The Green Hornet.”

The license also extends to the classic 1966 The Green Hornet television series and the two The Green Hornet movie serials produced in the 1940s.

Products to be released will include action figures, collectible die cast vehicles, full-sized and scaled replicas of props, and more. Products will begin launching late 2010.

THANK YOU - FACTORY ENTERTAINMENT

I got it. I'm excited about the Princess Bride Sword, and I'm debating on whether I should splurge on the Dual Sig Golden Gun...

Stupid companies releasing awesome stuff. :lol

I just got an e-mail yesterday afternoon from Factory Replicas:

You are receiving this update as a member of the our Golden Gun wait list group. As a member of this exclusive group you are the first to receive information regarding the Golden Gun.

Exciting news! We hope to be able to announce confirmed pricing and availability and open online pre-ordering very, very soon.
We appreciate that it‚s frustrating to wait, but we do not want to rush a product to market without making sure it‚s just right. Rest assured the wait will be worth it.

As a recap there will be two versions of the 1:1 Scale Golden Gun Prop Replica available:

The Limited Edition ˆ An edition size of just 1000 pieces worldwide, including a numbered plaque.
The Signature Edition ˆ An edition size of just 400 pieces worldwide including a numbered plaque with the authentic hand signed signatures of both Sir Roger Moore and Sir Christopher Lee.
Both versions are accurate and detailed non-firing replicas of the props seen on screen and assemble and disassemble into the component parts. Both versions are manufactured from high quality metal parts and are plated in real 18ct gold. Both versions also include a prop story booklet, display stand and acrylic display case.

We look forward bringing you more updates and information very soon.

The Golden Gun Prop Replica Development Team.

Any thoughts on the subject? I'm tempted to get this sucker not because it was the best thing in a very mediocre Bond movie, but because I absolutely ruled the world with this gun in Goldeneye for the N64!

:thumbsup
