I too only ever use one layer of prosaide.  Think of the prosaide as a 'primer coat', or 'glue' that gives the inks something to stick to.  Once you have the prosaide covered with your base coat the rest of the inks will stick to themselves.  In actuality, you don't want any tacky surfaces after the mask has been sealed.  I used this method my entire suit and have been very pleased
