Episode 9 lightsaber reveal???

The Vader ESB/ROTJ MPP saber has "exposed wires."

Interesting info on the rain/mud scene. I've been thinking that its use in TFA is going to be re-contextualized as more of a vision of the future for Rey - some sort of confrontation involving the Knights since we haven't seen them yet, but likely will in IX. Very well could still be used as a flashback, but I have my doubts - in the form described above it wouldn't make sense given that Ben would certainly have known or recognized someone as old/infamous as Maz (who was herself good friends with his father and furry uncle), and instantly known where to find her/the lightsaber...

The description of that scene does make his immediate strong recognition of the weapon make a little more sense, though. Without the scene, I'm happy enough to think he simply had a feeling/recognition via the Force.

So I'm looking at this piece of art, thinking something looks awfully familiar about it........

How did you get the rivets in the grips? My rivet gun is short snd won't get down into the grip notch...any help would be
appreciated....

Sorry for the late reply.

Those are Roman grips on the TFA saber in my photo. I simply used a Stanley rivet gun with a head that fit like a glove in the notches.

As a published critic myself, I've often found myself disagreeing with many of Ebert's critiques. I think he often neglected to consider artistic intent into his reviews, focusing more on the shallow, and forgetting about depth. That said, I still very much respected his opinion and imput.

Ah your rivet gun has an extended head on it and your grip notch is already cut...Hmmm nice job!

I just noticed that the picture has one of Reys hands as well as one of Kylo's hands gripping the Saber.

Do you know JJ?

I'm not 100% either, but it does have details that match a lot know things we haven't seen.

If it is fake they have access to elements no one else does.

Interesting that C-3PO has Chewbacca's bandolier and bowcaster but so does Chewy? Looks a little like poor photoshop but I have been fooled before.

Hopefully the spoiler tags stop any image previews, haven't used spoiler tags here before.

Lot's of matching clothing, but there seems to be small differences. Especially on Poe. (EDIT: nvm. Just doesn't have his jacket. From the article: "Also seen is Oscar Isaac back as Poe Dameron sans jacket!") https://makingstarwars.net/2018/08/first-look-at-finn-poe-and-chewbacca-in-star-wars-episode-ix/

I don't think there's any way it's fake, personally. If it is, hats off to whoever faked it, they are amazing.

I was hoping it’s real. Glad to see the graflex in back together

To bad we couldn’t get our boy Roy’s ep9 graflex in there!

The knights of Ren look very very cool.. when ep7 came out and had the medieval theme I was really excited..

I hate to be a Debby downer, but I just don’t care for new Star Wars anymore...

Love some of the new props but the story itself. I’m not even excited
